I don't think he would be extradited. It's an issue that would galvanize the two countries . He would be central to the fight . He would not be made an example of nor would he stay in jail . In my opinion of course but with legalization imminent .....lets hope . Peace sdd

Rough situation and for selling seeds of all things must make it hurt more.

I noticed in the article that Gypsy is an actor. That video of him berating some worker is an act I am sure. He is good, I noticed a bit of 'There will be blood' dialogue in there.

He fooled a lot of people, they were complaining what a meanie he was.

Why doesn't gypsy get the fuck out of dodge an then worry about getting his wife an kid to him?
Seems like there would be more options outside of a Phillipino jail and much easier to accomplish than getting crooked officials to clear your name.
That part doesn't make sense to me.
Couldn't they immigrate to another spot in Indonesia where he doesn't have issues or even immigrate to the uk or the us to be together?
That part just makes no sense why would he never be able to see them again they aren't in jail you would think they could just go with him somewhere?
Am I missing something important here?

the U.S is trying to extradite him; that means, in layman's terms, that they want to take him to the U.S to be put to prison there.

he can't just get on a plane to the U.K because there's no way to know what will happen to him there either, probably prison or extradited to the U.S from there I'm guessing... so he chooses to stay where he is because there at least he gets to see his family.

or at least that's what I understand.

Sickening. I have enjoyed Gypsy's company many times, and it goes beyond words, for this empathic individual. Something must be done, and soon...! Dammit.

I thought the issue was the Phillipines were trying to deport him as an undesirable non-citizen.
But legally they can only deport him to his country of origin, which is the UK.

I don't think the US ever initiated extradition proceedings; if they had I'm sure the Phillipines would have extradited him a long time ago.

There is a recent photo of him on the Farm in the jail with his kids; he looks stressed.

Here you go; I think this is Gypsy Nirvana, taken a couple of months ago.

I always thought that Gypsy was a British citizen.

I think he talked once about working 4 years as a British troop in Hong Kong.

Add to that ALL THE TRAVEL that he's done for IC Mag ... that is a lot of travel. It also puts him in a lot of places that governments want to know about.

The combination of military service and abundant travel gave me the impression that Gypsy has (or had) a friendly relationship with the British government.

In any case, there's no time like the present ! :woohoo:

Is this the kind of thing that the Prime Minister or Queen could resolve with 1 phone call ?

If so, the trick is making them want to make that phone call.

And - Very Important - that the Philippino government not lose face.

I certainly benefited from Gypsy's seeds. I even got 2 bonuses (at work) while I was working on government electronics stuff - under the influence of Cannabis grown from genetics I bought from Gypsy. But I don't think that kind of testimonial is gonna help free Gypsy.

One other form of royalty that exists in today's world is the 2000's generation of CEO's in Silicon Valley.

For example, if there were a Facebook group about Freeing Gypsy - and the matter were brought to the attention of Mark Zuckerberg. He could easily offer to fund a small R&D group in the Philippines.

I imagine the Philippine government is in "Survival Mode" on this subject - thinking with the reptile part of their brain.

And the reptile part of their brain does respond to $$$.

I wonder if FB invested $10 Million in a little tiny "Facebook in the Philippines" R&D Center ... Philippine government & Philippine LEO would quickly see their way clear to letting Gypsy go.

I know it might seem like a crackpot suggestion but I think that corporate money is what kind of powers the world these days.

The article stated gyspy was offered to be returned to Briton ? But he didn't wanna leave his family behind ! Can they not go to Briton also

Sounds like a better alternative that the jail is being described

Agreed.with the laws turning around in the u.s I would take my chances. I mean there are plenty of companies that send seeds to the U.S. Yes seeds did come to the u.s ,yes it's a crime and seed bay did send them so okay he's guilty. I don't think he would get a life sentence like the article describes getting lost. He would be treated way better federal prison is a cake walk compared to state prisons. He would only have to do maybe 50% of the sentence. 20 years equals 10 if we would have left that's 2 years he would be out in 8 that's if he got 20. I'm just saying a shower /decent meal compared to what he's been given and treated with rights. Sounds better than that stuff.he would have a good lawyer . The fund is up and running.hes not going to get a life sentence or get lost in the system or die from heat stroke if he comes to the u.s and fights this or take a deal on the charges.theres a lot of us that support him.
