I thought dubstep was unheard of in this forum too haha. Not heard of heyoka until now. He has solid depth and i wasn't aware there was dub even being produced in the US
Here's a taste of what a couple of pals (Crimps & Crotcha) are doing;

Some Whhispy dubbb riddim
For anyone who HASN'T seen the movie Rockers....big up ya'self, and see it.
Those of you asking....why aya man always talk bout dem-a-rasta. Dis 'ere I "Electronic Music Thread...?"
In case you hadn't heard, electronic music and Jamaica go WAYYYYYYY back.
King Tubby is reputed to be the first man to ever "remix" a track.
And Dub is probably the first successful "electronic" music genre, however the noises generated back yon were analog, they were successfully mastered the dub on the fly..thus 'Dubbing' was born.
I am surprised to see that more people haven't caught on here at the mag.
I mean: Ganja...Dub......?
(Slooow rumbling riddims, not which one jumps and prances about to but merely...)
...Steps.....to? (Best done wit spliff in mouth)
Easy Skankin' anyone?
Sshiiiiittt.
