The Dwarf Thread

No real thread was specifically found about dwarfs in general-so here is one.

I will suggest that a dwarf is defined at 24 inches (61cm) or less unless noted otherwise...so up to 30 inches may happen and be reported here.

Although I have no great claim of experience with dwarfs, I fell in love with a Lowryder grown last season that provided 55 grams of buds, while that is not record breaking, it sets a very good standard.

Lowryder #2 seems to have replaced the original Lowryder.

Lowryder #2 has been infused with superior Santa Maria genetics, a variety known for copious resin production, exotic taste and soaring highs, it is an indica / sativa hybrid originally from Brazil. The cross was subsequently selectively inbred for three generations. The result is an auto-flowering dwarf that yields a wonderfully strong, head-turning smoke with intoxicating taste. The strength and flavor is backed by copious resin production and much-improved yield and stability. Buds are larger, tighter and more aromatic than the original Lowryder. As with Original Lowryder, no separate room or light cycle is needed to flower Lowryder #2. Outdoors, Lowryder #2 will mature quicker than any non-auto-flowering variety.

Short Stuff #1-

Shortstuff #1 was our first autoflowering strain developed by our growers in Spain and was created by a long and careful selection process using the original lowryder. Like the Joint doctors original lowryder, shortstuff #1 is the perfect miniature stealth auto strain. It generally stays under 1 foot (30cm) tall but produces a nice amount of bud which is of a very decent quality. Shortstuff #1 smokes like a decent indica with earthy aromas and a fast onset of a body stone but also a pleasing ‘head high’. You will be surprised with the potency and flavour of this little beauty!

Passing directly from the seedling to the flowering stage, Short Stuff #1 altogether does away with the vegetative growth stage, in a process called autoflowering. In other words, when planted, it sprouts, grows a couple sets of leaves, then immediately and automatically begins flowering (males at about day 17, females at day 20). As a result, it is the quickest, most compact, and most discrete plant available.

Shortstuff #1 is not a huge commercial strain but a great alternative to traditional strains with many new advantages.
