Decided to show off my Dutch Passion Beauties in early flower.

passion#1 is a bag of shit grown indoor's so don't be disapointed ,i've grown it in and out and i'll never have it in my grow room again, but it's 1 of the best plant's i've grown outdoor's.

marijuanamat, Sounds like you've had a bad experience wish Passion #1 indoors. I do have previous experience with this plant indoors though. The only thing I was dissapointed in last time was the yield. I got just under an ounce from a 6ft plant. Thats why I decided to LST it this time to try and increase the yield by offering a more penetrating field of light. I have heard the same thing, that it's twice as amazing when grown outdoors. I plan on getting a few in somewhere this upcoming season. However, I'll hafta disagree about it being a bag of shit, since first of all, I'd never put the buds in a bag, and second it was very tasty and good smoke. Just wasn't enough of it. It will be an outdoor strain for me in future grows and as I try new genetics indoors. It's one of my favourite tasting buds and has a great heady high definately genetics I'll save a seed or 2 of in my collection so I can keep the strain alive for myself.

Update - Day 20

Update - Day 20

Well...here we go with some update pics. Both are starting to show well. Passion #1 is a early finisher, last time I harvested it on day 46, but was a lil premature, it coulda used another week easy. This time I have no visiters coming and I won't hafta "pause" my grow room.

Lets start with the pics already. Day 20 of flower.

Heres the LST'ed DP Passion #1:






^^ She is coming along great. She's only about 15" tall. Last time I grew Passion #1 it was 6ft. Really had an effect on my yield. My 250W was not strong enough to penetrate the bottom buds. This time with a short and even canopy, I should be able to yield more off of her. Early harvest also caused a small harvest last time. Full maturity will be reached this time. She should be ready in another month or so!

Here is Hempstar:








^^Very short and bushy. It grew naturally like that. I can't believe it. It itself is only an inch or two taller than Passion #1 right now. I'm trying to keep them on an even playing field so I've completely untied Passion #1 to let her catch up. My goal is still to keep as short as possible and provide dense light for a short canopy.

^^You can see my side lighting in the one pic. Its a "warm" 42W CFL with an aluminum shield around a regular household lamp. Doesn't get hot at all and provides some great side lighting.

I'm sure every update will get more exciting with the growth of the flowers.

P.S. soon buying a new strain to try, gonna try "Willy Jack Seeds", so far my choices are:
Black Domina X White Widow
or
Black Domina X NL
or
Rastaberry (Chronic X Strawberry Cough)
Anyone with experience with Willy Jack or any of these strains your input would be appreciated.

Next Grow will be:
Passion #1 - (cloned from current plant) <because of speed of harvest and tastiness and to get more clones ready for outdoor season>

Grape - Bagseed: I dunno the genetics of this bagseed I have. Not sure if it is originally from BOG grape punch. The bag I bought was labelled "Grape" and it was extremely grapey. Awesome taste, and appearance looked alot like the BOG strain. High wasn't almighty, but made a good daytime buzz. Going to germ some seeds in about a week.

I wish I could say the same Budfather. For me time isn't flying by. It's been over 3 months since my last harvest last only lasted me 2 weeks.
I am in the process of rectifying that situation.

- Just started my first clone of Passion #1 so that it will be ready to flower as soon as these are done.

- Building a very easy veg cab next week (will post in a thread showing how easy and simple my cab will be)

- Aiming at 4oz every 8-10 weeks. (around what we smoke)

I need the next 4-5 weeks to fly by as each week is almost costing me $100 in bagweed. Something I cannot afford. Everyone needs a vice though.

Soon my costly pain should be over, and I will never pay again!

I messed up today
I had my clone sitting in a plastic cup of water on top of the water heater (warmest + most humid part of the house). I was waiting for it to form roots, and it had been up there about 4 days now. After I got outta the shower I smelled plastic burning coming from that room. I went in to find my clone burnt to a crisp laying in its side . Don't understand while showering the past 4 days didn't cause the heater to get too hot, but it did somehow today.
I guess I now know thats not the place to put clones in plastic cups. I don't think I'm willing to cut another clone this far into flower. I guess I'll just resort back to seed. I do have 5 Passion #1 feminized left.

Just a funny growroom mishap I thought I'd share with y'all.

For now, at least enjoy this Passion #1 budshot from my last grow. It is from day 35. I know what to look forward to in less than 2 weeks now.

Sorry to hear about the water heater! I can't put stuff on mine as the cat will knock it off. He likes to sleep on top of it.

You're right alGrenDh, alot of other stuff goin on around here. The focus has shifted. I wish it was about the buds again.

Yeah, obviously I'll hafta find a better place than top of the water heater, or use a safer container than plastic.
My cat is the same, fortunately for me though, he never messes with any plants.

Day 30...Gettin Good

Day 30...Gettin Good

Well..here we go, day 30. Both plants are starting to put on a lil weight and this is where it starts getting fun. Where it becomes about growing the best bud rather than growing the plant.

Passion #1 is doing better in the LST, it's a lil early to tell but I'm definately gonna beat my yield from last time I grew her. Heres a look at how she is:





Hempstar is finally showing some great flowers. Took her awhile, guess she's a slow starter. Gonna be a long haul finishing her, but I'm sure she'll make it worth it. Here she is:
