As always GA, your pictures are wonderful, I really like the snail.

Well as promised I must announce Hydro is the proud papa of 2 female PP and 1 male PP, from the 3 seeds I popped I would say I like those stats.


Also that looked like a great party, all looked to be having a great time.

That's great, 2 out of 3!!
This is so funny...
When I read your posts, the first thing I did was checking the plants at the terrace..
Guess what?! 2 out of the 4 Purple Peace plants showed sex as well..
One female and one male..
The female just has 2 hairs all over the plant.
It's pritty early that they show sex already..
I hope it won't be a repetition of last summer.
The 2 other don't show sex yet.
Today is dark and rainy.....
Yesterday it was 50/50... lol
Maybe the sun will come out this afternoon.


Don't worry about the quality of the pics Hy.
We get the intention and it's great you are sharing.
I have a golden scissor. Can I cut your hair?? :smile:

Hi Core, thnx... best wishesh are always welcome even after my birthday... lol

This morning it was still dark and grey, but in the afternoon the sun came out.

The plants at the terrace are bathing in the sun again.
Still 2 showed sex of the Purple Peace.
The Green Ambassador X Purpurea Erdber is still goïng strong.

normaly the Purple Peace has 9 or 11 finger leaves.
But sometimes if you look a little closer you even discover 13 fingers!!

Funny, if you just took a puff of de Verdamper and turn around in your living and those guys say hi in front of your window... lol

The street is almost done, just some finishing touches here and there.
Those guys are creating the "hang up" fundament for the new street lights that are coming...

With the sun shining and lot's of rain a lot of new plants are popping up.
Like Morning Glory, Sunflower and last, but not least... Strawberry!!

As soon the strawberry realy starts to flower I realy have to bring them behind the window in the guestroom, otherwise the birds will eat the even unripe strawberries already.

Today was a sunny day around 25 degrees.
The plants are enjoying the sun.

I have one phenomena...
The Purple Princess X Erdber Purpurea..
I forced flowering here to put her dark for 2 weeks.
When she flowered I brought her back at the terrace.
She stopped flowering with here and there a hair (the red hairs on the flower pic)
She didn't grew through it either, so I decided to bring her back to 12 hours of sunlight again and at the picture you can see she is flowering nicely again.
The only "strange" effect it had on the plant is the fact that the leaves have "only" 3 fingers...
It reminds me of the old "Duckfoot", some of you might remember from former Overgrow.

I think it's a funny plant. I never grew it myself...

Your phenomena is beautiful! Great to have some anticipated harvest uh??
Here in southamerica the cold temps are setting in. 3°C/19°C ranges.

Last sunday was a great sunny day 20°C through the afternoon and my PP's loved it just after transplant.
I ended up with a male and a female!!! Just what i needed. i feel lucky.

The male is going to an indoor setup from a friend to play with its pollen and spread the seed after that.

Kayaman, those babies look realy nice..
Good idea to "play around" with the pollin.
Those seeds will be probably very nice.
Curious how they will come out.

I started playing around with pollin for 15 years ago with a strain brought in by a friend directly from the Himalayan mountains.
Since that time many nice offbreeds were born.
It started 15 years ago with the Purple Peace...
Direct strains from Purple Peace are Green Ambassador, Purple Princess, Purple Ambassador (PP X Mexican cross) and Floria Passion (PP X NLX).
Last name was given by Miss Mess from former Overgrow. No seeds of that strain anymore...
I decided it was too Indica at that time and shared the seeds with Indica lovers.

Hi Karma, good to see you. It realy was a cozy party.
It was my first "party experience" with friends, family and former collegues at the same time.
They all liked the easy goïng atmospahre and I totaly agree.
The great pies and Pumpkinsoup of Miss Muffin were very appriciated.
And the nice music of the "Deejays without a name"...
And ofcourse the Verdamper with your lovely "Happy Brother" and the nice present of you and Esben.
One of the most relaxed birthdays I ever had.
So many sweet surprises!
It loaded my battery again for the next 50... :smile:
So I can download some more pictures again... lol
Sunday we will celebrate Xaviera her 65th birthday.
125 People are expected and a lot of artists and a Morrocan buffet this time.
The garden is realy a nice place to party.
I will be there for the weekend...

Today is warm and sunny.
25 degrees at the terrace.
The forecast looks not that good.
Coming days temperatures are forecasted of 16 degrees by day and a couple of showers and sereous rain on thursday... 3 to 7 mm of rain.
The night temps are goïng down below the 10 degrees.
So maybe some more will start to show sex coming days.
The Purple Peace in the bowl isn't doïng that well.
Twice a main branch broke off and she is a little more yellow then the others.
She is still growing, but far behind the other Purple Peace.
Shortly after each other 2 branches broke off at the beginning.
I am still surprised this plant survived. Gave her (him) some extra Bio Rhizotonic

I had a little time left to be creative, so I manipulated the last picture.
The one with the green leaf and shadow is a non manipulated picture.

Here is a shot of my garden, the 2 in front as you can see are my Purple Peace.
I have them labeled because I took a clone from each.
the male is in the backyard being taken in at night.

Sorry for the radio silence folks, but since yesterday the server at the Canna Embassy is getting restored and will be offline for a couple of days.
I will be offline till wednesday..., but will check the forum every day.
Tomorrow Madame Xaviera will be celebrating her 65th birthday.
I am supporting her as much as I can tomorrow.
Lots of folks are expected, musicians, artists, belly dancers, striptease and the Deejays without a name will play their funky music...
This time there will be a Morrocan Buffet...
65 and still funky!!

Talking about being funky, monday my father will celebrate his 78th birthday!

Tuesday night I will be back at the " Canna Embassy base".

I am writing this all on an Apple computer, where I never worked on before, but it works.

Yesterday I visited my friend Charya, she has a nice range of strains in her little garden as you can see at the pictures below. The orange flowers at the back of the Purpurea Erdber C5 are called "Africans" in Dutch. They keep the lice away from the plants.
The plants are just before repotting...

The plants at the Canna Embassy terrace are doing fine.
The flowering GAP is producing nicely resins..

The pics are smaller as usual, because I resized them in microsoft mail.
I don't have my computer to work on at the moment.

Ja, ja, ja Holland get's on to the quarter final...

Mass hysteria, also in front of the Canna Embassy after the 4-1 "smash" match yesterday.
Made some video of the people singing and dancing in the street.
I hope to upload the little video to youtube as soon as I will be back.

Passing real quick, I wanted to drop a pic of the PP. (s)he had a hard time growing up (freak) but turned out ok, despite the snail attacts and recent hail Seems the snails DID NOT know about cocos being a good snail deterrent



This summer has not been great over here, and the plants have not really grown much, but they are still as fun to grow!

I agree with AGG. I'm following Euro cup closely and Holland is my candidate.

Don't fall when the real pressure is on you orange team! They lack a bit of rough attitude (or balls) sometimes when reaching the final stages.

Thanks for sharing folks.

I am back to base.
There is only a little problem as you can see at the posts before there is a problem with Photobucket.
A place where I stored my pictures safely for a long time, but it seems the site has been hacked since yesterday.
If you go to Photobucket they notice that the basic server is safe (where did I hear that before?).
So I have to look for an alternative to store my pictures online again.
Someone a good advise?
Am I the only one that can't see the pics at my posts anymore or does this go for eeveryone?

My pm inbox says I have 65.535 unread messages???

Can't store here at ICmag neither, because my gallery is full also and I don't like to delete them. It gives a nice overview anyway.
