hehey.. Something like "c'est la vie, Darpan !" thx for the kind words, btw
Hey Esben, you spread it on the main cola, you disgusting guys !!! ...lol
Morning everyone.. a lil headache here (not too strong tho).. we made a nice fiesta for a friend's birthday yesterday... drunk much and smoked some fine grass with 1 year curing....
See u later pals
Just one notice guys.
The pheno you got there Maffe is not the Purple Princess, but Purple Peace, the original strain Himalayan X Viking!!
It's possible one is shorter then the other, because the mother Viking was smaller.
Lucky you...
I just got 5 seeds left from the original Purple Peace strain and next year will be 25 years of growing and 15 years of Purple Peace, so I definitely grow those 5 beans together with some Green Ambassador..
The Purple Princess is a cross between Purple Peace, Skunk11 and Early Girl.
Maffe, that sweet smell is so fine....
I love your `litlle` paradise garden Maffe!
It was hard to find a Purple Peace picture, because in that time on Overgrow I didn´t had a computer yet.
The Purple Peace is a cross between adjusted Himalayan and Viking back in 1993. I grew them a couple of years and crossed the Purple with many strains.
The Purple Princess is a cross between Purple Peace, Skunk11 and Early Girl, more Sativa, more Skunk like and doesn´t get larger then 2 meters.
The Purple Peace is more Indica with thin and long finger leaves and very fruity smell, doesn´t smell realy like weed!!
The finest crossess till now:
Purple Peace: Himalayan X Viking
Purple Princess: Purple Peace X Skunk11 X Early Girl
Purple Ambassador: Purple Peace X Mexican
Green Ambassador: Purple Peace X Shiva X Powerplant
Floria Passion: Purple Peace X NLX X Powerplant
Afghan Peace: Purple Peace X Afghan X Snow White
(please no pm's for seeds folks, because there are just a couple of seeds left of the most strains).
The First picture is a Purple Peace in 2003, the last time I grew the original Purple Peace at the Canna Embassy.
Not very big buds, but sweet smelling and a great psychedelic high..
Still my favorite.
It was the celebration year where I sended 10 home growers all over the world 10 Purple Peace seeds to celebrate together with the Canna Embassy the 10 year's aniversiry of the Purple Peace.
That's how people came to the Canna Embassy thread on Overgrow back in 2003 and some loyal friends with the same hobby are still hanging around here at ICmag...
I don't need to call names I think..
The second picture is The Purple Princess..
Smaller, bushier, bigger buds (Skunk11 influence) , but less sweet smelling buds and a more "heavy" skunky stoned.
Everyone has his personal preference for smell, taste and high.
Personally I prefer the uplifting psychedelic high.
This morning was raining cats and dogs and right now the sun is shining again.
I brought the Green Ambassador outside again for a sun bath...
Have a nice day all...
G.A.
edit: All the strains below have been pollinated last year with Snow White and this year with the Purpurea Erdber and I still have to make up new names.
Maybe it's even better to go back to numbers again like the seventees and eightees.... lol
By the way, the Afghan is the newest strain at the Canna Embassy.
I know the Afghan by smoke from a friend from Amsterdam that gifted me some seeds of that same smoke.
She is still late flowering and not adjusted to the Dutch climate yet, but now she is pollinated with the Purpurea Erdber and might flower a little earlier next season.
Visited my friend Gijs tonight.
He asked me to check on his 2 Green Ambassadors.
It's his first homegrown. Amazing..
The funny thing is that he mainly used Bio Canna Rhizotonic.
No Flores, no boost, just the Rhizotonic.
I have to check by daylight again.
You can be proud Gijs!! Congrats with your first grow...
Thanks for the lovely diner Sam!!
Catch you later folks...
Glad I came back this morning to Gijs and could see the plants by daylight.
We found 3 or 4 spots with some mold, so we decided it was time to harvest them, before it effects the whole plants.
Together we managed the harvest job in no time...
The plants are drying in the studio now.
If you are looking for a relaxed and cozy studio to record music, or commercials, this is the place to be...
If you are intested, just drop a pm and ask for the conditions....
Gijs can be a happy man....
This afternoon I will have an interview about the fact that Belgium is complaining about the chemical Cannabis in the coffeeshops in the Netherlands...
And they can know it, because a part of the Dutch coffeeshops are provided by Belgium growers (Snow White?).... lol.
We can sell Cannabis in the Coffeeshops in the Netherlands, but we are not aloud to grow it.
In Belgium it's the other way around!! All politics....
If there are Dutch (or Belgium) people reading this before 4 pm and like to listen, the interview will be at www.megastadfm.nl between 4 and 7 pm.
It's a local radio station in Rotterdam.
The Green Ambassador is flowering exactly 60 days, so a couple of days over 8 weeks.
I let her ripen the seeds a little bit more..
Maybe harvesting her the 26th (full moon).
I keep her inside, because it's very moisty and wet at the moment.
This kind of weather triggers mold very easy..
I remove always brown (yellow) leaves, because that's where most of the time the mold starts, specialy the little ones near the bud.
I hope you all have a nice and safe harvest this year and a cozy winter...
Hello Canna Embassy!
Back in the thread after some time now, nice to see that everybody is fine.
GA I had some great comments about your party in Scheveningen from the Italian guys that were there... they told that it was the best night of their Netherlands' tour this summer! "Darpan number 1" they said
I hope I won't miss the party next year!
Beautiful pictures Esben, GA, KG, thanks for sharing.
Hey MaFFe that's a serious harvest wow! congratulations and enjoy it
GA congrats also to your friend Gijs, great results for a first time grower!
Have a nice weekend everybody, ciao ciao
Picasso
Today was cloudy and grey and around 17 degrees.
The ladies are doing fine...
The Afghan Peace is also a gracefull flowering plant... like little stars...
She is just a little late, because she is not adjusted to the Dutch climate yet.
Bacause it's the first day of autunm Narcelino made a new hair creation...
I love purple... lol.
