Seems you're pretty much enjoying yourself there G.A.! Nice surroundings... 
Here's a grasshopper that appears to be coming back to my plants every now and then. I think I've seen it grow bigger and bigger, or it's just a different specimen each time of course... :wink: Anyway, just like us it's enjoying those warm sunbeams.

You still got "wild Bavarians" overhere... lol
I am enjoying long walks in the (silent) forests.
Yesterday I ate some traditional beef with baked patatos and "Semmelknödel" .. very nice.
Tomorrow we are going to a hip hop concert in the Hempfield Labyrinth.

Looking at the pictures I miss my plants.
Yesterday night we went to the "Labyrinth im Hanffeld".
I was very much disapointed...
Expensive entry fee, expensive drinks and food, a dj that was making phone calls during his performence and no entry possible in the Labyrinth.
And no smoke at all!!
All the (white) kids were making pictures of themselves with the (industrial) Hemp plants... and getting drunk!!!!!
Miss my "homie niggas"
No creative vibes. After an hour we left home and enjoyed our smoke in a more creative and inspiring surrounding...

I am still alive and kicking and walking and driving through Bavaria. taking pictures.
As said before I lived here in the eightees and as time is changing, people are changing.
Some of my friends lived in Mobile homes and were freaks and are living a "straight" life now and don't, or hardly smoke Cannabis anymore.
In the eightees there were a lot of pot smokers, but nowadays, there are more XTC users and alcohol drinkers.
So I was very pleased to visit an old friend yesterday and to share a joint with people that could appreciate a good Bubble smoke.
I have been to many places, but when I am back in The Hague I will share you my Bavarian story.
For now some houses and places that were important to me in the eightees and someplaces that are new to me, but it still feels like home and I meet a lot of nice old and new friends...

Viking is a name from a crossing off 2x10
The numbers date from 1982
We grew different seeds, mostly from Old Ed, but some where new strains. Wat 2 en 10 where i dont remember out off my head but i might still have it on some paper somwhere.
In 1983 that crossing was made and i think in 1984 i watcht different fields off 2x10.

The plant i quet rough and the effect a litle bold. but just like a vikingsword the finishing touch is not so important. Its about the effect off the bang thats what the name is about. :friends:

Hello all,
Today is the last day in Bavaria and my stay at the house of my dear friend Klaus, his kids and his dear girlfriend Evelyn.
They were perfect hosts. Not "entertaining" me, but being there!
The welcome and stay at the family felt like a warm bath.
I had many interesting meetings, but I will report on the inside stories when I am back in The Hague, because there are a couple of experiences I like to share....
This afternoon I will meet my friend Martin Hoferer in a Munich beer garden (where else in Bavaria.?.. lol), a known Bavarian movie director and painter.
Soulfly, the seeds of the Himalayan strain were taken to the Netherlands personaly by a friend directly from the Himalaya and already 6 (or more) generations inbreeded in the Netherlands when I used the a male of that strain for crossbreeding with the Viking (1993).
The Viking (clone) I bought at an auction in 1993 at Positronics (Wernards company in that time).
The next (F1) generation came out Purple and since that time I cross every year another strain with the Purple Peace.
Next year will be 15 years of growing and crossbreeding the Purple Peace..
