Today started out rainy and windy, but in the afternoon the sun broke through...
It's around 18 degrees.

I faced a little problem today.
The main stem of the Phoenix Green Ambassador has splitted.
I put some shoelase around it.
Sometimes after a couple of days the stem grows back together again when you are lucky.
After a week or so I will remove the shoelase to check if that's the case.
In other cases, like the Green Ambassador in the wooden box, the main stem has splitted and didn't grow back together again.
But her main stem became so "woody" and hard!!
If you see the picture of the splitted stem you might think: "That looks bad, that plant will die", but when you look at the green crown of the G.A. Iron Empress you can see that she is doing perfectly well and enjoying the sun (and rain)...
Growing Cannabis outdoors is like a good movie, you never know what will happen next moment..
I gave the flowering Green Ambassador and Purpurea Erdber male for the first time some "Bio Canna Flores".
Today I am a little lazy, but I have to prepare for my guests coming soon...
The forecast for the day of the party is 25 degrees by day and 17 by night!!!
Optimal temperatures for celebrating at the beach.
I hope you all have a nice weekend.
Take care folks and stay safe...

For possible better results in treating her, 1st give the wound a squirt of fungicide inside, before sealing w/ Pruning Sealer, which should be available @ any good garden center. Then tie.
Or just leave her like the other! Best wishes!

It can also turn into a very bad movie... :badday:

Hi Highlighter,

Thanks for the tip and concern.
I think I just leave her this way and as said, if she doesn't grow together, I will leave her..
Don't worry Highlighter, the movie is even getting better... lol.
In 2 hours it will be full moon..

Yeah I gotta say I really do admire your eternal optimism G.A. ... The current weather is starting to break me up a little by now. I'm keeping my plants in tiny pots to prevent them from growing too tall, but with all this rain the nutes are flushed out of the pots quickly and the plants are beginning to show serious signs of several deficiencies. My tactics aren't designed for these kind of circumstances and I was hoping for a brilliant summer. Wrong bet... I'm not around often enough to pay sufficient amounts of attention to them in these tough conditions, otherwise I would have given the pots some shelter during the heaviest of rainfall. Now they're slowly drowning and all I can do is witness the deterioration and stand by doing nothing. As I'd like to call myself optimist as well I'm having good hopes for a sunny indian summer though. And no rainbow without some rain of course, it better be a brilliant rainbow after what we've had lol... :D

Another one looking forward to the party here. I was thinking of going surfing in the afternoon. Would you know if there are any showers present at Karavaan? I wouldn't want to stink up the place with my sweaty salty neoprene odour...

Hey Mad Scientist, so you're joining the party too, cool!

You're thinking of winfsurfing or wave? With the current wind conditions I'd think that windsurfing on the Scheveningen beach fluorishes!

It's a well equipped beach with lots of clubs along the front, I guess you'll find the showers without a problem.
rgds, kov

Yeah I'm pretty familiar with Scheveningen because I used to surf a lot near the harbour. It's getting a little crowded there so nowadays I'm mostly catching waves near Rotterdam's Maasvlakte, but I seldomly went north of the pier in Scheveningen. Ah well, it might be too crowded with swimmers on a Saturday anyway. And I fear there's too little swell predicted.

I'll see you at the party then Kov! Have a good journey!

Hello world,

Busy, busy, busy.....

Hi Kov, see you soon...

MS, There is a special "surf area" with showers, but it's not near the Karavaan.
It's on the other side of "de pier".

The weather today is fine, the wind came down, sun and some clouds.
It's around 18 degrees.

I've been phoning around with lawyers, politicians, the Dutch Drug Foundation, social workers and addiction workers in the field and they all think that the proposal of the "drugsexperts" of the police to their head chiefs of police to prohibit growing 5 plants for own use won't make it.
Maybe the head chiefs of police will agree, but they all think it will not convince the politicians in the governement.
It will increase the pressure too much and nobody likes to take over the "American Nightmare" overhere in the Netherlands.
It looks like the police needs more work.
All my friends from abroad always praised the Netherlands because of their wise point of view in the matter of separating soft and hardrugs and the tolerant attitude of our country.
Looking at junkies as ill people that need help (I don't mean pitty them) and not criminalize them.
It looks like the tolerance we have build up in the last 30 years is thrown overboard and will be broken down the coming 5 years.
I think it's time to raise our voices.
That's why the Canna Embassy likes to give "Cannabis a face".
So, at the party saturday I will make a little table with a guestbook and a petitionlist for the guests that night, if you like to sign.
This crazy witch hunt has to stop.
And ones again: "Mr. Balkenende, stay out of our (private) houses, terracess, balconies and gardens" please!!..
It's our "Peace of Mind"..

Growing for own use is not a crime..., it's a blessing!!

Keep on growing folks, take care and stay safe, wherever you are...

Peace and Respect, G.A.

I am a bad writer on paper myself, but every time I love it when I receive a letter from my friend "Rastajan" (always when people ask him if he is a rasta man, he answers: "I am "Rastajan", not "Rasta man"... lol).
He lives on a little island near Madagascar called Mayotte.
This Island is sold to the French by Arab Sultans 200 years ago.
60% of the residents are under the age of 20.
A nice place for kids to grow up.
Rastajan was caught 12 years ago with 3 friends and 3 joints on the island.
Because of the French regime they had to go to jail for 3 weeks!!
After he came out of jail, he lived in the Netherlands for 4 years to study art and got a degree in art.
After his study he went back to the island to teach kids on the Island the art of painting, but also the "art of life"..
His French wife is a music teacher and teaches music to the kids.
They have 2 lovely kids themselves as well.

His letters always have very nice stamps. They are art as well!!
The picture of Rastajan with the Purple Peace was taken 10 years ago.
A part of the picture is used as logo...
A far away friend, but sometimes closer then the nearest friend!

Piano is arranged.
My favorite coffeeshop is supporting the rent of the electric piano.
It looks like there will be a whole orchestra saturday.
Some instruments: Guitar, Piano, Cello, percussion, sax, didgeridoo..

The weather was great today, sunny, no wind and 23 degrees.

Preparing some home made goodies for the party....

Peace, G.A.

edit: I like to warn you all, if you are planning to come to the party saturday, not to take more then 5 grams (softdrugs) for own use with you to the party.
There always might be a chance that the police is "checking out" the party also.
If your girlfriend doesn't smoke you are lucky... lol

Hi Pablow,

Wrong timing man!! lol.

I am sure you can see a lot of reports after the party....
One of the Dutch most famous artists ever is coming to the party to support the Canna Embassy.
It's still a surprise..His fame started in Italy..
This artist X and I are exactly 25 year friends!!
So probably a lot of reports after the party at several sites.
The weather forecast for saturday: 25 degrees by day and 15 by night.
That's great! Not too hot and nice temperature to dance the night away.
Weather is nice today also. Sunny and 22 degrees.
Today the first guest is arriving and I still got to do a lot of work.
I am off now to make a piano reservation.... lol.
Catch you all later...

Peace, G.A.
