What method you using to purge your extract? And are you grinding your material prior to blasting?
Good work. Glass is for peasants.. Safer with stainless (as safe as you can be open blasting that is)

depending no your quality of trim.. you would be VERY surprised what you get out of blasting..
my gg4 trim. glue breath trim.. and the larf I leave in.. make my trim runs into a very nice product. lol .
also pack until its tight.. same as the glass. .
@420... howzit, Iv been cutting bud up wiff scissors... Iv been purging wiff hot water baths, then on a heating mat between baths... the last tray I bathed over about 4 days, not sure how many baths, maybe 8-10... basically till the last bubble has popped... I can be impatient so Iv been blowing bubbles out wiff a straw... like a lung buster, good training method lol... tips..?? Also, only putting one tube of butane per 1 once of bud... one tube at a time...
I know this tube is much bigger, could probs cram 3oz in there... so more butane...

Iv actually never blasted the trim lol, Im not doubting it could be decent, I just got none of this epic glue trim lying about... plus need a reason to use the bags lol... ok, Ill keep the tube tight... also plan on freezing it after packed, maybe 1hour in the freezer.... you got me thinking, might have to try a trim run, but it'd be next to untrimmed bud...
So any guidance on the purging..??

I freeze my tubes for open blasting for 24 hours to ensure the entire tube is the same temp.. but after that blast.
purge . I hot water purge until I can bring indoors. then vacuum chamber purged. 90-115degrees for as long as I see fit.. depending on what I want shatter. or wax. / honeycomb..
and trim can be amazing for oil. especially if u leave a lil larf in there to add more flavor.. but ive had people tell me my trim runs are better than most of the oil they have seen or vaped.
@EastCoast710... ok sweet, thanks for the advice... Ill freeze the tube as you suggest... if I was to guess Id say leave the O rings out the freezer...? Yeah check I dont have a vacuum chamber... fuckup... so I gotta make do... Im not to stressed about it taking longer time wise, is what it is... Im not too clued up on the category the end products fall under either, just would like the result to be the best I can get it with what Im working wiff...

Dude.. Trim runs are boss!! they can be as good if not better some times (think about a bag full of tiny leaves which are full of trichs, no stalks, no bud/ calyx matter just the golden honey on every leave. so Make sure you dry trim for better trich retention on trim.. BUT the golden rule is: Material in, Material out.
Dont ever freeze your Butane canisters, just your tube. Canisters are made to specific volume and messing with the liquid/vapour ratio can be dangerous. My 2 cents.. Id rather not risk it. besides, the liquid butane is at negative temps anyway, way colder than you will get it to stay with by putting it in the freezer.
Just keep it on a heating pad for a couple days. It will inevitably will become a sugar wax of sort. To get a leka shatter you will need a vac oven.
You can make a DIY vac oven like mine, and it works great.
Check olx, you will find a second hand Vacuum pump. offer half of what ever the price is and barter from there.
Then get the biggest sized pressure cooker from, OLX aswell. SS is preferable.
Now go buy some Air tight Valves and fittings a vac guage and a piece of Acrylic(thickest you can find).
Some reptile heating pads and a thermostat..
And boom you have an oven.....
Trust me..... Its worth it

Lovely Smelly! I also freeze the bejesus out of my tube (Only) before blasting, tend to get a lighter product, but oft I run lesser materials. Lovely tube, local is lekker and that champ is a stella guy!
I usually also just heat pad purge for a couple days, my best advice on hash, you can't polish a turd. Material in is material out. Within reason obviously. No one is going to bother to fraction off the thc from majat.

Hi sf, looks like ur ticking right along. A couple tips on my hash making process are use ur material as fresh as possible after drying. Freezing or pre freezing before blasting is preferred. 3 400ml cans of tane per 8"x13" pyrex, to keep the layer of hash minimal. Get some water boiling and pull it off and do ur primary purge with this. As the primary is finishing up, while there is still significant bubbling but minimal liquid tane stir vigorously. After a good stir, start the secondary purge with fresh water that was just boiling. Stir again when the hash is nice and hot n liquid. Repeat this process if necessary once or twice more, till the hash sets up to a nice fully dry crumble. Process it warm so it doesn't chip and get all over the place. Voila! Some killer crumble/wax.
I also only use trim. But my trim is often comparable to what a lot of people leave on their final buds. So it is highly resinous. I always buck off any leaf before the final trim that doesn't have at least 20% trichome coverage. No sun leaves. This will make a product pretty competitive with the top of the market, as long as ur starting material was good to begin with.

Ok, so I wound up popping the amadab tubes cherry the other day.... I packed 56g of SLH buds in there and froze the tube alone for 24 hours....[eastcoast710 dont stress bro still got me trim, just these things needed to be amablasted...][also these buds were from last harvest in what, fucking august...!]
Right so after freezing and then putting the whole thing together I ran 3 tubes of butane through it... I did like 5-6 of the hot water baths and really "whipped" the shit up "good" each time.... I have no idea but Id say I need to do "more" to it....
Its come out to a little over 8g... and this morning... yeah, I didnt even know what fucking beach I was at...
