Man, I love blackberries. Those look killer. My mulberry tree is producing berries, if I can beat the bluejays and cardinals. Nice to see you, Timj.
We have several Red Mulberry trees and a white one. We also have one that seems to be a cross of the two. I like the reds the best. The whites don't have the same taste. They are a more mild and sweeter berry. Have you ever tried laying a tarp under the tree when they are starting to ripen. It seems to catch the largest number of berries. You still need to pick through them. But, it's easier than hand picking each berry.

I haven't tried using a tarp. Good idea.

Ill ask him! Maybe he will let me take a picture.
My banana bread recipe is bananas, the blacker the better, peeled and split down the middle with pointer finger, the bottom of the banana where your holding gets squeezed through the fingers in a fist a medium to large mixing bowl 3/4 full, so its mostly big chunks but not full rounds only half at most. Then mix in a tablespoon of vanilla if you got plenty, and a good pinch of salt, as well as a good fat handful of coconut oil. If i had good local butter i would use that instead. Finally a big handful of white masa harina, which is corn flour that has been cooked with lime and ground and dried.
Then mix just a bit and oil your baking dish and bake at 350 or just below until done. about 45 min or more. Ricos
