Smelling great in there. The LAcon x is quite frosty and has a very unique fruit smell. Hope it transfers to the smoke. Glad I have more seeds of that. Looking like its still at least ten days out for the earliest of them and towards the end of the month for some... Time to fatten up.
Yea my LED runs pretty hot. It may be the infrared component to it. At this point my 6x 23w CFL is running hotter (80-85f max) but am ok with it. Hotter canopy temp I'm sure. Some minor heat stress. I think my bagseed was going to to foxtail anyways, lowers are doing it too. I haven't lifted the lights fully ever so may be able to decrease canopy temp easily in the future.
Flushing now... harvesting the two furthest along this weekend @ 9weeks. Some amber trichs now, mostly on leafs.
Others shouldn't be too far behind.
Will post up some harvest shots, dry pics etc.
Everything is taking longer than I thought. Took an "early" sample, the frosty LAcon x. Mostly cloudy bud trichs with occasional amber. Plenty amber on sugar leaf. Hard buds with a serious fruit scent.
After some more scoping I found another ripe one. My mutant bagseed has been taken down. 10%+ overall amber I'd say. Didn't really give it a thorough look the last time I checked. Surprised to find the older calyxs are caked in amber trichs. Not overly resinous but has a nice old school skunk smell to it. I'll take it.
Mostly dry trim job. Not quite cracking stems in 3 days. Pretty low humidity and high temps where I'm at now. Next to nothing to trim. Will go back on rack for a day or two then jarred.
Tried two tokes of the LAcon. Very tasty already. Almost minty and strongly sweet. Definitely high from that too and it ashes white. Been flushing two weeks now so it should!
Bagseed is kinda going squirrelly, definitely some sativa influence. The other two LA con xNL are chunky, frosted and pretty close. I suspect their young age when flipped had led to the longer flower time, seems way long for the strains involved. Hoping to cut it all later in the week then move right into round two. Thanks for watching.
Decided to chop the rest of them @ 73 days. Mostly cloudy trichs all around.
Round 2 with fabric pots ready to go. Mixed my remaining coir soil mix with promix mycorrhizae HP, perlite and some dark black soil. Amended with dolomite and a pinch of gaia green power bloom. Been watering it for a while now getting the myco ball rolling.
