"Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya..." lol
I'd have to agree with you there, I could've SWORN I saw him on that list. Which brings me to my second point...another thing that's wrong with that list (because obviously SRV should've been on it) is that it's written from an extremely biased perspective. It's mostly comprised of rock players...not trying to come off as a music snob or elitist, but the title says "Worlds Best Players".
YES!!!...that's what I like to hear. I know the title is "Best Rock Guitar Players" but the natural evolution of the thread lead into becoming what you just mentioned! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the greats, but I also LOVE music in general...plus I like sharing my influences with people- especially those who can show me some great new stuff as well...
P.S. I guess I was posting at the same time as you guys and I just medicated, so I can get typing pretty slow...sorry. Also, I love the name Johnny Butt!
Sorry...lol. Told ya....I was quoting a move called The Princess Bride circa 1980's with Cary Elwes. Guess that pop culture reference is a little too abstract.
One of the side characters (named above) tries to avenge his father by killing a six-fingered man.
Maybe this has been mentioned, but this is what you all need, over 80,000 concerts, it's legal to listen or share with others as long as you don't make money of it.
I recommend Umphrey's McGee.
