nevilles offerin would be the best. shanti/greenhouse back when he was there. I beleive shanti and neville are workin together at this point.
my buddy F1 grower has been workin with nevs haze for some time now. beleive hes at F4 with um, and physco/trippy effects are what his line is all about.
have you grown out a 14 week plant yet? current run in my garden are haze and landrace plants. im at 15 weeks and still lookin like 4 or 5 more weeks to finish. many bad things can happen in that time. good luck if ya decide to grow um, its reported that the wait is well worth it. jebus i hope so, lol.
good option is to have some fast clones to grow along the way to keep ya in bud.

Workin on the nevilles that CBF is talking about right now, the F4's ... awesome to hear that the line was selected towards a trippy high, as that's what i'm lookin fer.... they're all about 2ft tall now .... i'm trying to veg the seeds long enough to sex them while i'm doing other runs , then i can just take cuts and flower/mother / father those , HOPEFULLY that way i can keep the height down some... just don't know how long it will take to sex in veg since it takes so long in flower.
but they're definately lookin bad ass!

hey THC, to the best of my recollection they came from auction, and I think ray davies stock. ill PM F1 and see if he wont drop by.
heres a shot of TomHills OHaze in my OP, plant was grown 12/12 from sprout in a spot with a max 4ft ceilin, this plant is all bud with a bit of stem, lol. the top cola is threatin to topple the plant, absolutly huge and unexpected for a haze, at least my expectations.

hey THC, the other plant I have which isnt quite a beefy, but still good sized nuggage, was turnin purp in my OP at 64F. due to the number of plants i had goin at the time i added another 400HPS and have only been able to get down to 79F so she quit turnin for me. have a rooted cut of it(and this one) so if they are bomb azz smoke ill flower the one again under cool temps. have read that they will even show with regular temps if you happen to see one in the grow. Sam had said that there rare and usually why you dont see um hardly.
wouldnt be suprised if a purp plant didnt pop up in your grow as its the lumbo plant that displays the colors. should have just as good a chnce as any other grow of haze.

Says is true, only I'm just popping out f5's out of the pods, they fall really easy tho'... the N.H. F4 or H14 as I call it, is the more N.lights sided of the group of f3's... as the other pheno's were like vines, you should be able to sex in 3 wks and they should be done in 12-14wks... I actually pollied based more on yeild, but I don't grow out very many plants to maturity... the F3 mother was very good, and her progeny were vine pheno free, and went 11 wks before I pulled them as they were partially seeded, I do not consider myself a breeder really, as I can't put out the numbers and don't choose too, as I'm just a med grower, I wish you luck with them tho' and doubt you'll be dis-appointed, goodluck and peace. f1.

Heya, thanks for poppin in F1, when you say 3 weeks to show sex, you mean from flower correct?
in your opinion , do you think i would have any luck trying to wait out the sex in veg?
About how tall can i expect these things to get if i flower them at 7 inches or so?

so chances of findin a purp haze amoung a population of haze is slim, especially if you only have 10 seeds. thats why its so rare, and worth my 2 yrs of lookin. I doubt ill ever have a line of it, but believe me I will have a few moms of it.

Yes 3 wks 11/13, with a 6week veg, if you top them very early, at 2nd - 3rd node, you can keep them about 3ft, I did it outdoors even... I will dig around and see if I can come up with some pics of the f3's to show the wide variance, but have to dig awhile... These plants were all grown out each time and flowered during the Ht. of summer, and artificially shaded so not to become accilmatized to a more northerthly latitude... let me hunt and upload pics they tell more than a thousand words... I would not wait for them to show sex on their own, as they won't, until light cycles fall below 12 hr dark period... I re-vegged at a lil over 13hrs light once, grew once for seed and once for bud-after re-vegging all in the same season... here are shots of the 3 pheno's- the NL pheno is the one with actual buds... The best thing is to get f1's from Mr.Nice is your best shot at a super nice pheno, respectively. F1.

If its 5% of 20% you're talking about, then its 1 out of 100. I understand pretty much that haze bros original haze is probably clone only, so that leaves the closest thing to OHaze in seed form probably Tom Hill's or anyone that has positronic's stock. I actually read someone over at CW is producing what he calls 'Original Haze' its in Queijo's website i think. Flying Dutchman also has a 'Original Haze' and Homegrown Fantaseeds have a 100% sativa haze, as well as Seedsman (as that sam the skunkman's site?).
I have no idea which one is the most pure but I was under the impression if you buy say 10-20 packs of one of these you'll probably have good chances of running into a good 'purple haze'.
Of course 20 packs of the vine-like 12-14 week Haze is a HUGE test of patience...

Hazes are something very near and dear to me. Having worked for years with
F1 stock from Neville, I must admit...a great deal of patience is necessary,
whether working with NH, SSH, or a variety of haze crosses.
As for the 'best' NH...that is quite debateable. Often times various breeders try to
'improve upon' or add their own spin on a strain (such as Neville's original NH).
After a great deal of experience with these, and going through the long but rewarding
process of finding a shorter flowering resinous male (under 12 wks flw), and merging
with the best NH females from that same project, some awesome F2's were created.
However, as many of you may know (especially if you read the charter edition
of IC Mag) a raid of my grow op in NL caused me to lose all parent stock, but a few
(very limited) amount of the F2's I place on Seedbay from time to time.
IMVHO, the best NH is obtained from Neville's F1's (but takes some doing to find
keepers)....second to that would be Shantibaba's (cause Shanti has Neville's orig
breeding stock), The Green House (a good alternative, but not quite as original
as Shanti's version, but still most worthy). TGH and Neville were, many years ago,
partners...and that is where part of the genetics came from for TGH version.
Another excellent choice of 'haze' genetics would be from Sam the Skunkman.
If you check on Seedbay, I believe there are 3 lots up now of some rare haze crosses of
Sam's along with only 1 lot of another exceptional haze cross (all found in 'Rare' seed category).

id say his crosses on seedbay are the real deal. TomHills original haze is also on seedbay, his stock is from positronics. from most everything I have read, OHaze isnt much for growin and tokein, unless your a diehard haze lover. its at its best when used in crosses.
myself, id say Sam is right there with any of the top breeders of today. I wish he was more accessable though

I only had 5 plants (2) males, one tall & fast... that was used on the NL pheno (the un-vine like one)... and I used a shorter but longer flowering male on the 2 vine like pheno's T & C... C had the most trichs, very frosty... T was almost as frosty as C, but on sampling T had a juicyfruit (gum) flavor, and was stronger, by quit a bit than C pheno... wich was also Juicy fruit flavored to a lesser degree... and the NL pheno had a more Tropical fruit punch smell... next I'm going to work on the T pheno maybe... as it is pretty stealth, for a MJ plant... that is, after I'm over this extended vacation from growing... stay safe and peace. f1.

sams original haze is haze brothers haze just get 3-4 packs to grow out because some will smoke like hemp but you'll find at least 2-3 keepers if you grow out a few packs
