those foxtails are gorgeous!

Thanks trichy... my room is running hot, about 85 at canopy, otherwise she doesn't really foxtail much at all.

That first picture looks great! What size pots and did you use straight coco?

2 gallon smartpots, straight coco. thanks buddy!

Awesome greenatik, thanks a lot for showing this, I'm going to add it to my lineup.

Good choice, I can't believe barely anyone knows about this strain?!?!

Nice! I want to see what they look like when they're all dried and cured.

I can make that happen :tiphat:

super dank bro, settin the bar high for sure... just hope i find just a nice a pheno :)

You are doing good! and I can tell you have a very similar pheno of it going, just dont make any decisions until you finish, last 2 weeks she really shines

looks great!

Thanks!!

greenatic the sugarloaf sounds really bomb do you think you could give a bit more description of what the high is like?

is it couchlocl, is it functional, happy, trippy, clear headed, cloudy headed, indica dom, sativa dom, tired heavy. up and zooming, relaxing, may cause paranioa in some, antianxiety, etc.

I'm not the best at explaining these sorta things... but... I'd say that it is sativa dom, up high, too much too quick would definitely cause paranoia for even the most experienced smoker, but that's why I like it.. I only need a tiny bit in my bong... the high is definitely long lasting.. I gave some to a dispensary and the owner told me after he tried it he was up and cleaning/vacuuming the place like a mad man.. so it is functional but doesn't leave you disappointed and wanting more.. hope this helps?

cutting them down 2morrow

cutting them down 2morrow

So I'm going to preface saying that yes I do know that these are seeded... I've been having problems with my environment.. It's a long story but long story short, I bought a new AC at beginning of summer and didn't check for light leaks hard enough. I've got the light leaks fixed (we all make stupid mistakes :)) but I don't know now if my current 90-95 degree canopy is just blowing the situation out of proportion.

This is pretty bad news, considering that I don't keep mother plants and it's very possible that I am perpetuating the herm genetics by taking cuts off of early flower plants. I am buying reverse in a couple days and will start treating everything before I put them into flower... fingers crossed as I would hate to see sugarloaf go down the drain over a really stupid mistake... but even with that being said, I don't mind a few seeds for exceptional smoke - some of the best herb I've had was some fully seeded purple erkle from a med club.

Anyways, despite the bad news they still look like superstars and are purpling up even with my super high temps. Makes it exciting to see what she will do during the winter. Once again, the seeding is user error and not a fault in the genetics, as my buddy that gave me the cut does not experience seeding.

here's a ton of pictures... enjoy!

Your clones aren't going to be more or less likely to herm, it's a question of genetics, unless you grow out the seeds, the clones will only herm in the sort of conditions they got exposed to this time.

Greenatik, yup, we all make mistakes :shucks:. It's the better man that owes up to them. :tiphat:

The secret is out now. I have some serious inner conflict going on in my mind now over falling off the wagon of seed collecting addiction. :smoker:

Green,

Do you have any more information on the original seed grow? Reg or fem, how many packs, how many females selected from, variation between contenders?

Just trying to get a grasp of how closely your pheno is to the "norm"

Will be chopping some Sugarloaf in about a week or so as well! Thanks for the inspiration :)

the seeds weren't grown out by me, but a buddy. he logged it somewhat, but other than what I've already said (pheno was chosen for color + frost + dank, not yield) I don't really know a whole lot besides there being 3 diff phenos... here's a couple posts of his that talk about it

Personally, I think your pheno 1 looks damn good and more frosty. Looking forward to your next update, can't wait to see how the buds turn out from a diff pheno

Plants look great and also look ready to be chopped!

yup they got chopped 6 days ago and were just jarred up finally today. I trim after they dry so I'll get around to update some budshots within a few days.

Thanks for following everyone!

I wish mine ended up like that. I grew this strain with a roomate about 9 to 10 years ago (7 or 8?), we got the seeds when they first came out. We started 6, had two females. They both were under 12/12 for 50 days and just looked like vegging plants that were pre-flowering. Both were still growing and producing big fan leaves and we gave up on them, really just looked like plants under 18/6 at day 50 and we figured they'd never flower. These are some great pics and nice work!
