I cannot remember what 20 chronics yeilded me, I have had around 6-8 crops since then harvest hell I would have to look back and find out myself :) chronic will yield great, It is a little fluffy but produces some nice sized nugs and overall yields good. I would probly run ak47 just because its much better smoke, chronic to me is well not good for the head stash :) Plus ak yields pretty close to chronic with the right pheno.

I like the Idea of the 6k hps with the 2k mh down the center good mixed spectrum. Well with 8k it just depends on how many plants and how large you want to get them. My guess is you want to grow some nice large bushes, Again though how many plants, I usually allow 12" between the buckets and 1416 between each row. But thats packing em tight and not good for no 8 week veg. So with that in mind how many plants you planning to run?

If you choose to run chronic, run it 56-63 days man at 50 its just not worth while at all imho.

Thanks for the response Blaze... Im planning on following your DWC setup but doubling it up (24 plants) but im thinking it might be to much for the space available (10 x 16)...the 8 week veg is obviously for as much weight as possble :joint: but im concerned about the 5gal buckets getting crowded with roots due to an 8 week veg, im willing to do a 4 week veg if im convinced the yield will be good also someone else had told me about running chronic upto 65daze, i planned on doing a 60day minimum to begin with...

what veg time did you give your chronic run? if the pics i saw are the correct ones it seemed crowded so i see where an 8 week veg will be no good lol

as far as running ak47 i will be running it the next time around once the room is dialed in with everything

what you mean by 2k rooms? that 2000watters?

Very nice though for sure :p My grow room once i make it is exactly like yours. I already know design and everything. Your room though i love the water system design. Ima going to adopt that to mine :p I love it.

But ima not going to have nearly as many plants. Ima probably going to shoot for about 5ish. Enough just so I can always smoke free weed, and make a few exact bit if change on the said, Know what i mean :p

I was planning on making mine about.. 6-8ft by 3-4ft by 9ft high(ceiling hight)

I figure that might just be perfect space for 3-4 plants. Can also be seperated into 2 area, a 2' x 2' area would be great for a mother plant.
Then have 3-4plants in grow area :p

Im pretty excited though i have perfect idea for a water system. Think you can post the specs on all of your equipment. That would be great. like those air pump mostly. :p Iv read almost all your post, i used filter button :p 9 pages lol.

Because then ill have idea or size to get for 3-5 buckets only. Because right now on my 2nd grow i just perfected the bubbles. Air stones suck ass imo lol always clog up.

Blaze, you don't prune your plants. Do you notice any difference in yield, or just when you go to trim? Shit looks thick in there, love the diversity bro!

To you the dwc is more impressive to others the soil is more impressive. To Me they are both equally impressive :)

I dont trim my plants usually, I get better results from untouched plants then I do those I trim, There is more popcorn buds with the untrimmed but they do over all yield the best so I just dont do any trimming.

It's all freakin' impressive :biglaugh:

I've got to admit tho, I like the soil room better, just for the ease of care. Nothing but tap water makes me all tingly :D

I'm thinking about giving the soil mix a try on the Cheeseboy run I've got coming up.

Quick question for you Blaze, may have already answered it, but I can't remember - if all of this mix isn't used, does it become unstable or anything if it sits for a while? Or is it best to just chuck out left overs and do a whole new batch when you need more?

Blaze or anyone running this system, i have a few questions.

The setup is a 20bucket setup 4 rows of 5 what size rez and controller do you all recommend?

what size pump for the feed lines?

and what size air pumps? or do i just buy multiple of them ecoplus pumps?

money is no issue here and i dont wanna cut corners :joint:
