The Berlin Wall

Went in this morning and attempted to get somemore photos, but the soil had already gone dry. Took me a while to get them fed, as I'm trying to water the larger Masters with more ferts than the SDXOG and the Bubba, I had to mix the ferts seperatley. By the time I was done I was almost late to work, so no pics for a day or two.

I'm pretty familiar now with the Master Kush's growth rate and know what to expect. Does anyone want to fill me in on this OG X SD, and what I should expect during flowering?

Here are some picture of this morning. Day 3 flwr.

A shot of the right of the room. The canopy is staying pretty level, and light is penetrating to the bottom of the plants still. The MKs have yet to show much stretch, but the smaller Bubba is stretching more by the day!
:yoinks:

A shot of the nearest MK to the door. They are loving the new soil and room...now I will stop using the superthrive (as the final transplant is over) and start following the Fox Farm feeding schedule. Hopefully I can figure out how to use this cheap camera and get some better pictures up as the plants mature.

Another shot of the canopy (day 3 flwr) The canopy is level but does not cover the entire space. Next run I amgoing to make the improvements inside, and create some more space...I have "high" hopes for this harvest, but even higher for next run.

Anyone with any questions concerning the room feel free...and again, anyonewith any experience with the SD X OG cross, any information would be appreciated.

I realized looking through my pictures that it is hard to get an odea of how the inside of the room is set-up. It is hard now that the room is on 12-12 to get all the babes out and get some quality shots taken, so they will have to wait until the round is over. Here are some I took today to give an idea of how everything is suspended by bungee cords and chains (Which hang from Hooks in the studs)

This is the left hand side of the room. The CO2 Gen hangs above the fan and allows the heavier CO2 to fall into the fan's airflow. In front of both is the intake of the aircooled hoods.

This shot is of the right hand side of the room. on the lower right you can see the exhaust of the room attached to a carbon scrubber. This is one of a few flaws in the room. The turbine is too weak to properly exhaust the space and the scrubber is too old to take away all the odor. Both will be repplaced next run (I am thinking a more powerful turbine with a speed controler to adjust according to the climate outdoors...ie, the summer comes and I jack the power up....cold winter night and I slow it down.

Another shot of the right, you can see the 2nd turbine better inthis shot...it pulls through the 2 hoods from the intake of the room and when it exhausts into the living space again it is STRONGER than the room exhaust...the hoods never get warm.

I'll get some plant shots up in a minute.

Here are shots of various babes at 4 days flwr

This is the size of 4 MKs. I let them grow fairly naturally....I didn't want to top them and not allow them to catch up to the larger plants...in an attempt to keep an even canopy.

A trained MK's stem

Same MK from above

next run I want all of them to resemble this...all bud shoots at the same level...plant is loving life
:yummy:

Another "smaller" MK on the left and my OGXSD front and center

One of the larger MKs next to my tiny Bubba...she was only vegd for a week, so obviously this is personal smoke...if she turns out well I might think about stuffing the entire room full of her...any opinions?

The OG X SD...the growth pattern is fairly similar to the MK cuts I have. Maybe I will see more change in the coming weeks

Got them all back in, and here is what the canopy looks like...

Peace all

Anyone hear about the LA Galaxy signing Beckham for 250 Million? A great move in my opinion, at that price it seems outrageous, but if the Galaxy want to improve the talent pool of the MLS this is a good move.

Nice canopy germ :yummy:

yeah they paid $250million for him for 5 years but i think they get his image rights for that.

"yeah they paid $250million for him for 5 years but i think they get his image rights for that."
-That makes a lot more sense than when I first heard it. Was watching the news and they said they sold over 2 thousand season tickets in a day and a half...guess that is a testament to interest.

Yes the canopy is nice. Been real pleased this round as a whole...but the canoopy being as even as it is, and the plants being as strong as they are, I think I won't be too disappointed at leaving a portion of the room without plants...When it came down to the wire I had only enough to fill about 2/3 of the room...next run, when the interior has an overhaul, I think Ill out yield this round considerably.

They are almost 5 days into flwr, the bud shoots are getting more focus as the plant's legs have been trimmed. Once they start to show more signs of stretch I'm going to trim all of them evenly and get some more airflow beneath the canopy. One larger fan above and a smaller bellow the canopy. Peace All

Thought I would mention what I am medicating with.
Picked up some "KottonCandy Kush" from the sunset collective (across from Hustler)...I don't know why I keep going back to this place...insane traffic, drive thru service and THE worst clones I have come across...none the less, this Kush is some nice smoke...and I am starting to realize why I go back

I'll try and get a couple pics up tomorrow.
The smell is starting to creep through the cracks in the door so I'm setting up a timer for the Ozone gen. On for 10 min on the hour while in flowering. They seemed to be doing fine when I looked this morning, but the humidity around here is incredibly low and no end in sight. Temps are good. Plants look good. Camera sucks, but hey things could be worse.

MrGrow- Thanks for taking a look. The reason I started posting again online was to inspire a few people, because with the current climate (globally) which cannabis users face, we all need a little inspiration.
About the wall. I regret not getting a camera earlier and showing all the steps involved. If anyone with very little home improvement skill wants to get some basic ideas, I would sugggest purchasing a "Home Depot" guide to do it yourselfhome improvement. If you do not have a home depot, you could purchase a similar book online.

I wish I could have made a diary of my build, in that I think it meets the requirements of a LOT of online growers. In that, most do not own property and are unable to overhaul an entire room! everyone wants that stealth aspect to a grow...unless one is completely commercial...and I think on a moderate budget I accomplished most of what I wanted. I beleive "BlazeOneUp" has a fairly detailed tutorial on how he set up his grow (many props to Blaze).

To stop rambling and answer your question. Yes, I did insulate the room, and I did use styro-foam to dampen the sound. So the wall (from the outside) was drywall, alluminum frame, then insulation, next styro-foam and lastly poly shield (as I mentioned before interrupts IR scanners). The wall (exterior) took a weekend. Keep in mind you have to wait for everything to dry, sand it down, and then paint...amongst many other things.

The inside took much longer to set-up...but, I am German, and a bit of a perfectionist as a result...

Wow, I leave for a few days and I'm on page 3? Guess I'll need to get a better camera to compete with all the "popular" threads...
Things are going well in my garden, but not in my area.
*West Hollywood, and safe access as a whole is under fire from the DEA and a drug policy so out of touch with science and popular opinion.Make no mistake, all of CA is under attack with these raids...please do something if you can.

Now for the garden

A view to the right...The canopy is healthy and there is ample air circulation under and above it. I will go in again tonight and trim the legs once more, and then spread them out to give some more space for air fllow.

View to the left. there is still space in this side of the room, maybe a foot further until they would touch the propane tank and intake.

Up close with the nearest Mk to the door. I will take some more tonight and get them up tomoorrow...maybe get some better pictures of the inside.

Peace all...

The garden is looking very nice. Dont you wish stealth didnt have to always be cramped. Thats ok because its leads to more stoner ingenuity. Cant wait to see how those MK ultras turn out. Love that LST

ORPotGuy- That is the one downfall of keeping it stealth I guess. If I were to set a yield goal for this space it would be around 3lb...but I'll need to make some improvements...and maybe give SOG another try if I want to get there. *It is Master Kush (MK) not MK Ultra*

A little update. Things are going well...plants are taking to the feeding schedule well, the Humidity in my region is still very low, but the temps have been staying fairly low. In my eyes the basic keys to keeping a healthy crop is 3 fold. 1- proper watering 2- temperature 3- humidity...there are a heck of a lot of other things which come into play but if these three remain constant the plants do fine...once the humidity can get up from 20 % to 50% I think the growth will start to explode...

Some pics to come tomorrow morning

Thanks MID TOWN, much appreciated. My dimensions are 3.5 ft in width and about 10ft in length...wish the space were a bit wider, but the window is as close as possible.

Hope everyone is doing well...

An update from behind the wall...

One MK...the room has 9 this size.

If anyone has any questions or comments feel free. I can't stop smiling while uploading these pictures
:yummy: I can't wait for this SD X OG to be finished. Don't get me wrong I love MK and Bubba, but I sampled some of the flowers from the same mom a couple days ago and I was blown away...I felt like my face was being sucked off my scalp through a vaccum...Then I couldnt stop talking for the next 2 hours...can't wait to see her in full bloom.
Peace all

The canopy is still pretty level. Since I did not train them all same, some are stretching a bit more. I had to raise the lights up another 6inches, as 2 plants were becoming sun bleached.

The lowest bud cite on the nearest MK to the door. The camera isn't too great, but the resin production has doubled in the past 2-3 days, and they are stating to put on noticable weight.

Here is what I see when I stick my head inside...nothing but green, can't see past the first line of plants...and when I look up it isn't hard on the eyes, as the canopy shades the floor fairly well
:woohoo:

Not much else to report on. I shaved the legs again, and took off a number of low bud shoots. Fromthis point on everything is staying on, unless it is falling off naturally. The canopy is healthy, no stress, humidity is around 45%...and as I hoped, the growth is EXPLODING!

Peace all
