Because there are so many Og Kush cuts(sfv, ghost, fire) , are some stronger than others or have different highs or is there a general OG high?

SSH x White Widow, a friend made this cross and it is ridiculous. It deserves some respect, not a casual fun high...

Jack the Ripper. I generally don't like tga seeds but this one can be really strong in a narcotic sort of way

RKS, in the early 90's I had a Sk1 x Haze that was a super strong RKS pheno. Probably the best weed I've ever seen to this day.

ChemHaze, congrats SG. Its strong but you let it go a little too long. :tiphat:

Skywalker OG, actually not super potent, but super good high so I had to throw it in.

Blowfish, tested 23.7% THC and has no ceiling. It will put you out if you smoke too much. I've actually been "on the nod" after smoking too much of this.

FALLEN ANGEL ic won't let me post pics, it keeps fucking up and kicking me off. when I go to post pics it keeps showing me pics of someone elses gallery for some reason.

but if you check my "revivial of the ultimate sativa thread" or the last page of my gallery you can probably find the type of weed I was talking about as lowland or coastal oaxaca. sounds very similiar. I also have pics of the purple skunk and a bad representation of a daywrecker-ish type bud.

Motaco - I found an individual that looks like the spitting image of the lowland Oaxaca that you posted on your Revival... thread. It was extremely strong AND perphaps the best quality, for me, that I have ever had. I thought it was a dud until it hit me between the eyes with a phase shift that reminded me of shrooms about 5-10 min. after having 3 tokes. Then it slowly climbed for 30 min until a wave of bliss\warmth\blush washed over me and from there it was like I had the perfect amount of the best Thai stick.
I am an old-timer who regularly enjoyed the greats back in the 1970s. I was able to enjoy the occasional great one in the 80s, but now it is very rare for me. This one was a blast from the past.

The individual that I found came from a line that was supposed to be Columbian, Acapulco Gold (more often referred to as Mexican), Thai, and South Indian. I don’t want to start a controversy, but I never hear people discuss the Mexican element in this famous strain. I have my suspicions thanks to Motaco and this freak throwback that popped out of a population that did not resemble this freak. I love freaks!

I named my individual Acapulco Thai since the smell of the stem was like Thai, peppery bitter citrus rind, and was very light yellow green (gold). The fresh cut flowers smelled like the atmosphere after a thunderstorm. Later, they smelled like some very mild cooking herb.

I held this cutting for more than seven years, but rarely grew it since it produced so little. Motaco’s trimmed bud picture showed what looked like a mini Christmas tree with sparse branches made up of stacked calyxes. Mine was one single stacked calyx stem of about only about 8 individual calyxes per bud-site. I only let it go 18 weeks because it reminded me of Thai, and I had a dream that it would fill in at some point. It never did. I think it took several days to trim enough for a half ounce!

It was the especially the leaf shape that convinced me that my individual was a throw back to the Lowland Oaxacan that Motaco posted. I could not believe what I was seeing when I saw his posted image!

I searched for seven years for a strain that I thought might be worthy of a mating to it and that could bring some bud formation traits. I gave up and killed the cutting… But not before making a cross with VISC Burmese, backcrossing to the original cutting, crossing again to Hawaiian Haze, and backcrossing again to the original cut.

Five more years have gone by before cracking some of these seeds. This is because they are getting very old, and I now have hope of finding something to cross it with. I came across a company from Spain (Ace) that seems to have crossed a Thai strain with just about everything. It sounds like they have my same affection for the kind of buzz that I like.

My apologies for blathering on for so long, but I have been wanting to share my quest for the best for a long time to people who understand my passion for this. If anyone is interested, I can go into some more details about my search through these old seeds, and the new ones from Ace. I’ll have to learn to post images.
A question for you Motaco: Where you able to preserve this Lowland Oaxacan?

LMAO

I started reading this thread and got carried away when I saw the sugarecane post by Matoco. I did not even notice that almost all posts where in 2006.

I just now read through all the postings and now follow the tenor of what this is supposed to be. With that in mind:

Thai Stick
Jamaican Ganja
Sumatran
Columbian Rainbow
Columbian Black
Columbian Gold
Neville's Haze

That is 7. Getting carried away again.
