Both of these people were a serious danger to our country and I'm glad both of our presidents did their jobs correctly...

Saddam announced that he would not take US dollars for Iraqi oil. That had a little more to do with it in my opinion. Plus, a broader geo-political (zionist?) strategy.

Geo-politically, and hypothetically, it is possible that the US was going to repay china with middle eastern oil. Look at a map of the middle east. From Iran to turkey. Look at the northern arm of afghanistan that reaches into china. Perfect for a pipeline. Look at the history of pakistan's separation from india. Which occurred right around the time that the CIA lead the original coup against Iran. Is this why Trump made a point to secure the oil? China will get the oil over Trumps dead body?
