Since the Mueller thing ended and months of mental gymnastics by our anti Republican/Trump friends. We have grown accustomed to them consistently being on the wrong side of every issue.

For a time it was funny but now it's just sad.

To me trump looks haphazard, knee jerk, not intelligent, with a side order of gangster including hookers and a total disregard for the law. Obama turned around the economic mess left by 43 and trump rode that wave and attempted constantly to take credit for it. That does work for the uninformed. Now, after a long list of impeachables detailed in the Mueller Report he gets charged with a much simpler crime that should be easier to understand for his supporters.

I'm happy to hear that you survived the 43 induced recession. Personally, It took me a long time to recover the market and real estate losses. Generally in recessions home building stops along with remodeling because people are afraid of loosing their jobs or their money. I doubled down and bought another house at the bottom. You were fortunate to keep prospering in that environment.

It’s the current reality. There aren’t really any examples otherwise—really. There’s a good reason why the western world adopted representative democracy as opposed to “pure.” Getting 12 jurors to agree on guilt or innocence isn’t an easy accomplishment. Getting millions is practically an impossibility. Smart heads have been working on this for thousands of years.
