well,....
the ladies look great. life in the trenches can be quite screwy at times. i am diligent in trying to revert some mostly indica razberry, and some seed bank ice plants from flowering. i watered today with about 15 - 20 gallons of butte counties finest tap. flush the babeeezh. the small boxes got 5 - 10. i foliar with a synthetic fert before 7 a.m. then use the maxicrop after 7 p.m.
anywho.... next are the guano teas...roughly scheduled for after the holidaze
note to self: next year i secure more personal fav strains....THCBear

maxi cropped this a.m. new leaves appear yellow. any ideas? other than that they look good. most of them have come out of a premature flower with the help of time and some high n fertilizer. checked out some other crops yesterday. the bubba kush appears to be a vigorous strain. anywhooo later to ya.

water consuption is down due to thefires and smokey conditions. yesterday was as close to hell as i think i've been. today is smokey and temperatures are going to be 111 degrees. i am waiting for the holes to dry a bit more before i tea them again. not much gardening action here so we are off to marine world for some fun.

it rained ash yesterday. the fires flared up overnight. limited visibility. washed the girls with maxicrop. today is tea day. these plants need to double in the next couple of weeks to get ready for the stretch. the troublesome plants are now mostly out of flowering including all the purple nepal the green crack and now impressively the razberry.

ash covered leaves again today. we are trimming up the scruff from under the plants, to promote top growth. 1 down 27 to go. the tea is frothy and smells once again like zoo broth. next time we will change out to a trans tea or go to the bloom tea.

lousy hot smokey weather last week. hopefully the sun and stars will shine this week. i have been spraying with some natures nectar along with the maxi crop. we are going to price out some trans fert along with the ingredients for our flowering tea recipe this week.

we scratched in the last of the organics today and watered heavily. the smoke is nearly gone and the ash rain has ceased. next week is fish fertilizer.

still cleaning up the underside of the plants. around five or six left. they are much easier to water and foliar feed now as well as getting rid of the dead leaves that were accumulating under the plant. we removed all the canes and ties and the plants seemed to jump up.

most of the plants have been trimmed now. a couple of the purps are mite ridden. they were flowering and reverted back to veg leaving a shwoopy mess underneath and a safe haven for the mites. i am douching them with the maxi crop this week to try to rid the vermin.

the maxicrop didnt work well enough on the mites, so i hit three of em with the pyrethrum one dose every five days for two applications. we started them on maxsea triple 16 and the ice plants are on the maxsea 3-20-20 with some rainbow bloom scratched in. that , some humic acid and molasses are the extent of the bloom ferts.

THCbear. I for one am enjoying your diary, the way it is written is very refreshing. Even if you can't do the best with pictures, I'm watching your posts, and I wish you luck. If you come across the product: monterey garden insect, it works nice for mites, and I've used it on flowering plants without an issue, its not a chemical.

I wish you well friend.

tomorrow we will water with some humic acid and molasses. they seemed to tolerate the maxsea fairly well and are tearing throught the water at this point. the ice plants are flowering and could be done within a couple months.

first foliar since the mite outbreak. things appear to be in check. maxi crop used this morning. they seemed to love it. the skunk is nearing six feet tall and about fifteen feet around. the sno caps are monstrous as well as the cervantes sativa. all of them seem to be doing well except for the sickly raz (poor thing). probably going to water this evening.

we watered today using 1/2 cup of humic acid and 1 cup of molasses per 60 gallons of water. we built back up the rings around the girls and watered using about 370 gallons. it should be enough for about 4-5 days. everything is growing real well.
