The way it's written could be confusing. It's the Infused part that prob means concentrates. We don't add flowers to food items. THC concentrates are infused into butter/oil for most food products. I didn't read any other mention of this other than food.

"Cafes and restaurants can also serve cannabis-infused food and drinks -- but only if the products contain less than 0.2% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the plant's main psychoactive compound".

How much our press misses the entire point, never fails to amaze me. Inaccuracies that bias conversations inaccurately are as common as them not even using a spell check. I'm more inclined to believe the unknown voices on an internet forum, than the international press. Which puts huge shadows over every item they report upon.

Certainly, in the mix with all this news, are strong signs they can't pin the facts down. If you know what it is you actually need to hear. Nowhere gives a solid report. It's as evidence based as social media whispers.

Only hemp extract would be .2%. Anything real would be 85% - 99%. I saw 3 months in jail for smoking in public. In recent past have seen them say they want to limit THC content to very low levels, and government wants control of all seeds and cuttings being exchanged.

I am on Thai fascistbook posts a lot, especially phuket, and when I have seen thai translated to english, it is completely mangled and usually can not even tell whet the topic is. I am willing to bet it will be clarified shortly, and THC levels will be controlled.

what they say ,, or would like ,
they cant control anyhow , so its doubtful they will try to control how much thc levels are in the plants folks are growing,
especially given it was only legalized this week and folks are already harvesting plants,, lol ..
the chances of someone going to all the houses and testing plants for thc content is zero ...

They have spoke about people falling out of the labour market and sitting home getting stoned instead. That negative image being outdated, now responsible use is being seen. I think at some point a limit will be added, and they have already said how it will be enforced. Testing before arrest. I think it's here where we will see responsible users having no reason to be tested. The law only serving to control those who seem to be slipping through the cracks. So caught with a fat one on the beach, they might find themself swabbed to see what it is. Then further investigation to find it. While the constant smell from a working persons house, is just presumed medical and needs no investigation.

Quite a few EU countries have laws in place that are only enforced when they feel like it. Judged on a case by case basis. Rather than fixed penalty crimes like speeding tickets. Few legal systems actually treat everybody equally.

It's all in flux at the moment. They are a government though, and need laws to impose their rule. They have said what they want to see. The laws to achieve it will follow.

Cop: Hay punk. Tell me where you got this, or we will have to test it.

im not sure they have worried about the thc content in flowers , more in conerntrates so far as some of the press releases have said ,
its pretty confusing though ,, the odd one ive read makes sense though ,

dont mix it with alcohol or tobacco ,
responsible use they seem to be encouraging like you say fe,
which is good ,
a whole bunch of thais already toke out in the northeast province where my ex wife is from , there are very few police around anyhow , things wont change in places like that , they will just know they are free to do what they were already doing , haha ..
in many urban parts they are not as heavily policed as us westerners , less regulated and probably have no idea what some of the press releases say anyhow ,
"grow some gunja now? yes why not "
they have no access to low thc seed in any case in most instances and likely wouldn't buy it anyhow ...

I really want to know what the government are dishing out. I'm guessing low THC but medically decent. Something they want to see spread. Perhaps pollinate drug varieties.

If they dish out sk#1 then that's that. It's on :)

I looked as mass spectrometers when I was desperate. It's not as easy to read as I wanted though. Vaporising stuff and looking at defraction is okay when we are talking Volcano vapes and window ledge crystals. It was reaching a bit further though. I would like to learn, but feel there is quite a lot to it. Perhaps knowing sample size you can look at content through measureing everything in there and rationing it out. Really need a lab tech to iron that out though. I'm just speculating.

Skunk No1 not at sensi seed?
Being number one, somebody will or recreated it quite regularly. I doubt the original is around though. It was so unstable, it's probably a fig tree by now

Luckily one doesn't need to travel to Thailand to find good thai food.

My neighborhood in college had 4-6 thai/thai-ish places. More common than teriyaki shops

Would love to try street food in Asia someday. Just hate heat/humidity. So, takeout for me.

Not the health minister but the "secretary-general of the Don't Drive Drunk Foundation". And he was only talking about driving high.

Off topic but since you asked, Skunk #1 is not a clone only variety but there are some very famous Skunk #1 clones like Exodus Cheese and Green Crack.

Thai is very difficult language because it is tonal. Google translate slaughters it. There were rumors about it being opiated, but hear they made tincture with leaves and lower buds, then applied that to the harvest. Used to get bricks of Thai Sticks, then early 80's we got green thai bud for awhile.

we think those rumors about opiated thai sticks are unsubstantiated, even thai people say its an urban myth , just a marketing ploy by westerners it seems , opium and the export weed were grown in totally different parts of the country and logistics prevented them from coming together not to mention price , reasoning , etc ,
why taint something perfect with another drug that detracts from it anyhow...

@romanoweed,
what will you ask this old thai fellow , maybe its already been answered , or we can work out a way of communication , do you have something written down , or will you talk directly to him?? if so you can record what he said , and its not that hard to get it translated id say ...
thai people are quite good at growing stuff ive seen , the climate really helps a lot with that , minimal food and water does wonders and the sun and climate does the rest ...

There's still a big demand here for the older local stuff since indoor and hybrids still are expensive here. Alot of shops contineus to sell different grades of bricks och thai stick imitations alongside the hybrids.

They sell it for 20-30$ for 100g, they also sell it in kilos for very cheap.

Here is some pics from one shop's online store

I would ask them about the old Strains, how they cultivated them (in field, at home, how ..) , and how they made Seeds. Those two things.

Need somebody that can ask those questions and return me the Anwser in English.
The guy i have contact in Mail was growing in the 70s..
