Sorry for the bad pic but it was preharvest without the lights running.
My thaipan was cut with 103d 11/13. don't remember exactly when but the lights were reduced to 10,5/13.5 roughly half way through.

In the background is super malawi haze

Thai x panama about 50/55 days 11/13

Showing quite a lot of Thai traits in flowering with such a foxtailed flower structure @ilovegrowing.

I insist on the nitrogen toxicity; it hinders proper reflowering in these tropicals and causes premature ripening. Excessive nitrogen in flowering also decreases the THC potential of the plant, storing it in excess and resulting in harsh smoke later. I would recommend flushing with the correct pH and letting the plant absorb its own nutrients before feeding strongly again.

Yeah, you are totally right. Soil is too hot for most of my mostly or pure sativa plants.
Im just feeding water to my living soil mix since the start. I will try your tip with the flushing and will mix the next soil with only half the nutes, and rather topdress if its necessary. I already had way better results in structure and budmass with the same plant. So yes, too much nitrogen aint good for what i want to achieve. Thx

@dubi a couple thaipans d 66 after a 8 day vacation. They were dried out but not wilted, more yellowing than I'd like to see but still kicking.

Impressive finish @flaw.less.finish love the first pic! I would wait for those reflowering in the tops to ripen a bit more. However, if you find the terpene intensity is fading with the yellowing, then don't delay the harvest.

@dubi I've dropped the intensity of the lights and the heat 71 50 lights on 68 50 lights off. Plan is to get them to d95.

She suffered a bit initially with my slightly hot mix, but she has gained lots of vigor. The most NLD plant in the garden for sure. Pumped!

The TxP is the fem version - this is the 2nd from a pack of 5. I'm hoping to develop something a little more manageable (more Panama like) for the small time terrace grower.

@dubi Tbh I try not to sample before the time is right... ie 60 strain... 60 in the jars....100 day strain... it's about time. I'll report back...

The Thai x Panama reg version has yet to sex but I am hoping it will be a female. If it is a male, it will be culled, but I will keep trying to get a female in the coming seasons. Eventually, I´d like to get a Panama green male to spread its pollen on a couple of Thai x Panama females. This is just a trial run to see the potential of the cross, which has peaked my interest due to the reports fellow growers have contributed to this thread
