He's slowly learning that to grow the best weed you have to stop thinking about how much it's worth at the end! It's only really when you stop selling it that it starts getting seriously good. He's far more commercially oriented than me, but he did take them on, which shows at least he's thinking about it!
And after he smoked some of my Goldfinger yesterday and went away all bright-eyed and giggling, I think he may think about it some more...

some updates on the thai
been real hot and ive not given her the full love she deserves
its going real slow but still alive
as ive said before she has been left in a litle pot and she is from seed,she has grown out control not geting the best light,im not going to let her go tho
ive just chucked a clone into flowering which i will repot with some bat guano and with this girl its water for a while if not for her whole life
i also have a male that show great early flowering quality's compared to the fem i have,i put the fem and the female into flowrting at the same time and the male flowered straight away the fem took atleat 5-6 weeks to do anything so im thinking this is an early flowering male thai(or cambodian or whatever it is)
i have seeds of thai x cheese,nevills haze,unknown strain i have,sssdhaze 2 phenos
i will be exploring through a few of these down the lines,i dont have mass amounts only like 20 of each some more but i have the male clone and all the other clones so i find anything good i will reproduce
anyway enough babling
also elevator man any pics of your mates for comparison

You're telling me it's been a while - I still haven't seen them myself yet!
I'm meeting my friend this weekend, so I'll see what's doing - I don't think I can get to his, as it's too far away, but I'll ask him, and report back. Oh, and I just heard there'll be more of the same sticks in town shortly...

Not met up with my friend yet, so nothing to report on the plants yet.
However, I did run into these two beauties a couple of hours ago - 200g there. Again, just a few big, fat seeds from the little piece I've pulled off - looks, tastes and smokes identical to the previous batch. Yum...

man where are you getting those and how is the high and price
The high is superb, and the price was reasonable, given the product. As for where I got it from, is Thailand not specific enough?
Slightly off-topic, but I couldn't resist it, as there seems to be something of a Seventies revival happening in my part of the world - check out this awesome hand-made red lebanese I just bumped into! That's 45 grams there (about actual size in the thumbnail), and almost pure resin - the trichs can be seen easily in the last pic, but under a 60X microscope it's red/gold dewdrop heaven...
I got a lump last year when Israel invaded, and it seemed to dry up again when they left - first I've seen since then, so maybe they're planning to invade again?
Oh, and it's much stronger than Leb used to be, that's for sure...

News on the two Thai females, which started this thread all those months ago. One is dead - eaten to death by mites apparently (I'm typing this with a raised eyebrow). The other is outdoors, recovering from mites, and apparently doing quite well, though it can't be flowering any more - it was all a bit confusing, but such is the way with my stoner friends.
However, I'm going to go see him next week, and hack a few branches off to bring home - even if I can't grow it, I can give it to someone more reliable now. And I do have more fresh seeds too, so somehow, this will happen...

may as well leave it outside and forget about it. grow some new seeds @ yours and try again and keep your "mate" away from them.

OH btw, i germed 2more thai (made from thai x superskunk)
, but these are gonna go outside, not sure how they will fare tho. and if your wondering if any of the skunk came across.. it appears not to, it still looks like a typical thai.
my first plant just had its second smaller harvest, wasnt much, maybe 4-5g, mixed it with some sskunk and ended up with my head down the bog after the 1 joint
. its back under 24/0, it may reveg again or it might die, not fussed tho tbh as my attention is focused on getting the outdoor plants to finish atm.
may as well leave it outside and forget about it. grow some new seeds @ yours and try again and keep your "mate" away from them.

But you're right, I should just germ some more - it's not like I'm short of them! But I am short of space, and growing them in this new place would be mighty difficult, unless I did some super LST!
What happened with that Thai then? With your head down the bog I mean - it was super-strong, or completely revolting? I hope the former...

mine is still going
i took her out today and chopped a litle bud
the plant is very airy
has a funky smell
in the begining stages of flowering it had a lemony lime smell,now it has changed
it looks like it could go for a lot longer but she is getting the chop in about 2-4 weeks
i put a clone in about 3 weeks ago and its only starting to put out its first hairs
if this new run isnt good i will ditch her
i have 1 male that i want to do some crosses with before i ditch her

do it like you did before mate, thread it through some wire, it was looking good right untill you gave them away
oh that episode, well i mixed superskunk and thai into the same joint, was very stoned(skunk) and also very high(thai)
was only a 5min thing tho, skinned up just afterwards lol.now cmon get some more seeds started, my 2 new ones are like a week or so old and are going outside shortly(maybe hit or miss).
no moaning about height as you can do this:

ojd: make sure you try a sample before cutting the plant, your plant is tall and your colas dont look filled out enough yet. how many weeks has it been in flower ?
