The father of these ladies WAS a Ray Davies bean plant.
Amsterdammer said that even though Ray crossed them it was a F1 since the original TFD stock was a true landrace and not a F2 as Ray marked them (Ray knew that, he just didn't want any possible chances of mis-representation).

Dunno....ask Amsterdammer in the TFD forum, I don't get it :D

Yours does look very similar to 4 of the 6 females I have.....I have 2 that look like full landrace thai.
I just haven't shown pics of them yet :D

Oh, and Steel?

They are under a 400 HPS....nobody thought I could pull it off, I stuck with the 400 the full grow just to spite em and show it could be done :)

every time i had "calyx stacking" or "foxtails" it was a symptom of plant stress. mary jane has a determinate growth habit.

Killer buds thor !

Hum lup, I've found that very high levels of light induces some of my strains to foxtail.

I don't think I've ever seen a Thai that doesn't grow buds with fox tails.

Your buds look killer and VERY healthy!!!

Foxtailing almost never has to do with nutrient problems....
It's genetic!!!
My Superfruit is made up of the same thing,,long foxtail "threads"....Especially when grown hydroponically....
It's half Hawaiian which is probably Thai...As most old-school Hawaiian is Thai brought back from Vietnam and Thailand...
Open buds that do this are my favorite as they can carry much more trichomes in the open profile, especially on the stacked calaxes..
Take care and be safe..................................CC

Welp....the resin content on this first pic should give that infamous "Cheese" bud pic a run for the money :D

I don't recall another pic that covered in glands....of course that might have to do with short term memory and all that :)

You'll have to look close at this pic.....but you should be able to see the blues and purples coming out in the lower buds.....

Sorry, nothing I can do to upload the insane smells from this lady :D

What's the percentage of clear/cloudy trichs right now?

Looks like VC came up with a winner here.

Dunno, haven't checked.....but I'd say prolly 75% clear still.

I harvest by smell.....yea, I know it sounds strange.
Right at peak ripeness the smell goes into overkill mode....always, never seen it be a wrong indicator.
I wait for 2-3 full days of the overamped smell and then harvest.
This ones starting to make me think it might be this weekend....middle of next week at the latest.

And nobody has ever accussed you of using strange growing techniques before have they?
:D

I'd sure like to know what the clear/cloudy percentage is when you whack her.
Got a loop or microscope?
They sure have turned out nice looking....now for the buzz test.

I should be getting some of those beans still....I hope.
