i recall growing some of the very first dutch passion widow fem release early 2000 that was super incensey and trippy. It hit, smelled and smoked like an amazing Haze hybrid more than the classic widow found in Amsterdam, which is a very resinous Afghani dom of much more narcotic effects, and without incense terps. Don't know if that could the widow x haze you comment, but i don't have experience with any widow x haze cultivar/clone.
Interesting I wonder what was in the white widow (maybe a male) you smoked that had heavy incense maybe the S.Indian genetics ?

I believe what phy explorer refers to could be Mns La Niña

Reported Haze B x white widow , later admittedly Haze B was actually Mullimbimby madness

I’ve heard some great reports of MNS La Niña - I believe it’s the MM genetics but it’s hard for me to believe Shanti after I left Mns

My first Thai Chi got the chop yesterday, along with a couple Pangi and a Zamaldelica fem. After experiencing a couple Haze × Kali China's last season, and a Kali China harvested 6 weeks ago, I'm really looking forward to sampling this.

Flower day 43. Thai Chi on the right dominating and filling maybe more than 2/3 of the canopy. Panama x Bangi Haze fading faster on the left. Little short on the food, but probably only month or so to go, so not too big of a deal. Some trichome action already going on.

Hello, what I was talking about was Moby Dick, a hybrid very popular in Spain, a hybrid of hybrids of course. But I asked to compare the more objective aspect of the psychological excursion.

Thai Chi (right) and Panama x Bangi haze (left) went upside today after nine weeks of flowering. Some mistakes were made and they also ran out of food, looking all haggard now, so no more steam left to go any further. But i am happy about the grow nonetheless, and the dominating Thai Chi did grow some nice looking sticks! Smelling it fresh i get some squeezed lime and something deeper in the background.

My two Thai Chi keepers from 2021, at D75 of 12/12.

They found their way into a PCK open pollination. Hence the seeds.
They took the same living soil blend I use for modern 'kush' plants out of practicality and they took it like champs! That radioactive look though...

#3 Chives, bay and earth. Savory bud, my favorite of 6. Effect wise she's a balanced introspective high and I miss her.
TC3 (1).jpg

TC3 (8).jpg

#6 The NLDst plant in my library. Should take around 100 days to get her to fully finish. Mostly floral with sourness to it. True exquisite and exotic look, over 900. HQ effects, blissful.
TC6.jpg

I'll be keeping these two for a while. Thanks maestro!

Thai Chi (2-month cure) smoke report

Thai Chi is a truly transcendent strain that harmoniously unites a complex bouquet of aromatic notes, layered with an electrifying high tuned to the magical frequency of 936 Hz. This strain is for enthusiasts who enjoy the great outdoors, meditative moments, and contemplative hikes.

Upon first inspection, Thai Chi's buds reveal an exotic tale. They present a visually tantalizing mix of deep emerald and soft lavender, delicately dusted with a generous coating of crystalline trichomes. But it's the symphony of scents that truly defines this strain. The first whiff delivers a punch of sour fruit, a bold introduction that quickly melds into a floral dreamscape. The blossoming bouquet unfurls itself, revealing delicate petals of citrus and a forest-like earthiness, akin to a woodland walk after a refreshing spring rain.

As the aroma settles, your senses are treated to a rare and luxurious undertone of Tonka beans, providing an exotic creaminess that's enriched further by whispers of Asian spices. The final note, a touch of anise and citrus, adds a sweetly spicy counterpoint, creating a complex and memorable olfactory experience.

Each inhale is a smooth, creamy journey that perfectly balances its diverse flavors, hinting at a fragrant garden of purple bloom, a zestful citrus grove, and a serene, spice-filled forest all at once. It really smells and tastes divine, thanks to Kali China's influence.

The high, on the other hand, is nothing short of extraordinary. As you exhale, a vibrating sensation begins to take hold. The specific frequency, 936 Hz, associated with the pineal gland's activation, washes over you. It's a blissful, clear-headed, slightly electric buzz that manages to stimulate your thoughts without inducing paranoia. The effects are akin to a mind massage, fostering a realm of introspection and enlightenment. For those who are afraid to smoke pure Thai, this is your perfect gateway to get a glimpse of the SE Asia gene pool.

Thai Chi is an ideal companion for your outdoor adventures and introspective pursuits. This strain enhances the color of your world, adding depth to your thoughts, and creating a symphony of sensations that echo the majesty of nature itself. Meditative moments become immersive experiences, and hikes transform into philosophical journeys.

How does she smell?
I haven't really checked out her smell lately. She's flanked by 3 Zamaldelica on one side and 5 New Caledonia on the other, so the grow smells like sweet tropical fruit salad. TC #1 is very KC like in smell and effects, despite her Thai like structure. Maybe this one will be the other way around. I'll check her out next time I'm watering and report back.

This is the more Kali China leaning pheno (TC3) after 2 months in the jar. All the phenos have a similar loud fresh/flora/clean/blossom smell I can't get enough of. This terpene is new to me and my garden. Very unique.

This pheno has lots of incense notes and the room smells amazing after a vape or smoke. The smoke is very enjoyable and has an almost cool/sweet wintergreen flavour on the inhale. Very smooth and creamy.

The high comes on fairly quick and reminds me of one of the panama congo phenos I grew (it was the terp heaviest pheno, very fruity and loud). It makes me want to get up and do something, with euphoria/amazement. It also makes me forget thoughts quickly and my mind races a bit to the next idea (the panama congo does this a lot). After about an hour or so it settles into a wonderful bliss/meditative state without much heaviness. This pheno would be perfect for banging out some after work chores and then chilling with the sunset and a beer. The straight Kali China I grew is better for social time but the Thai Chi influence definitely adds some pep and fun! Very high quality for such a short flower (I took it at just under 60 days but will let it go a bit longer next time).

I had to harvest the more thai phenos earlier than I'd like (honduras haze was taking over fast) but I kept moms. I figured it was a good use of the extra tent space I had while waiting for my Green Honduras Haze plants to fill out/reflower. I'm going to give them a bit more time in the jar before making a report but it won't be as accurate as some of these beauty thai leaning plants that are hitting 90 days flower in this thread. I'm excited to do a full run of one of these phenos now that I know a bit more about them.

Thanks @Greencedar Lovely vape report! Pleased to know you like the effects and terpenes you are finding in your Thai Chis :giggle: Glad to know you also grew straight Kali China to be able to compare from first hand.

Yeah, there's also plenty of incense in Thai Chi :D Kali China dom phenos like this one are always more or less incensey, loud incense phenos are very easy to find in the also quite commons KC shaped expressions, in these expressions terpene profiles are as complex as in Kali China, while the green Thai dominant expressions from the opposite side of the genepool produce a classic old school Thai terpene profile (and effect!), although not so elaborated in terps like KC dom plants. Excited to hear your opinion on the different females!

Not sure what that white widow from Dutch Passion i grew more than 20 years ago really was @bigherb .... it was definitely not the same genetics than the classic Widow found in Amsterdam in late 90s/early this century. The widow i grew from DP fem was their very first feminized release of the strain, so imagine how old ... all plants grew very uniform: it was a stocky, compact, columnar plant, not so resinous as one would expect from a true old good widow, but defintely super strong and with a unique trippy quality to the effect. I don't know if it's the same nowadays, but that old release was excellent.

Regarding your other questions, i have not grown anything from shantibaba since he started Mr Nice and i know nothing about the seeds they sell.

Congrats on the harvest of your 2 Thai Chi girls :D @Ras Kali Rasta :D the second one looks finished to me. Appreciate you have grown a few of our best sativa hybrids 🥰

Haze x Kali China is a quite similar type of hybrid compared with Thai Chi, both use same Kali China F4 parent plant reversed over a very long flowering, untamed, highly inbred, extreme tropical sativa. Main differences are Haze x Kali China has a Purple Haze mother while Thai Chi's mother is a green Thai and that makes a difference in the type of terpenes and effects between both strains.

Those colas look wonderful @Stoneroller well done :smoke: Really sexy Thai dom, yet tamed expression!

The Panama x Bangi Haze showed yellowing too early, but Thai China reached end of flowering with perfect fade for my taste. Looks like she could be harvested now or in the upcoming days👌

Thanks a lot @The Zientist glad you rate your TC female 6 high enough to have a permanent seat in your mother room, she is without any doubt one of the most Thai dom Thai Chi expressions posted here, an almost pure Thai expression.
