Thai Chi

Hey Fronk,

I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. I look forward to grow the variety and experience her ways.

Interesting cross btw. I assume the SourD is being quite dominant on the aroma? It's funny you bring Sour name up. I've always found that a few phenotypes from Thai Chi posted on this thread, to be quite similar in bud structure to it. Having the whole round swollen clustered bracts going, in a more equatorial package.

Hi Zientist, no problems at all.
not really actually the upfront terpenes lean more towards the Thai chi but with a sour background.
Sweet bright citrusy scent with a sour finish.
Here’s Thai Sour #2 at day 78

Do you think she will take more then 11 weeks?think she is regualy at day 58 but she took quite long to start flowering so after a week or two I cut down the flowering time for 11 to 10 and later on to 9 hours step by step so I really don't exactly know what day for real she is intoo flower.. Does she look like 58days?

AT LAST, YOU CAN ENJOY THE BEST THAI SATIVA TRAITS, WITH A MODERATE FLOWERING TIME AND AN ABUNDANT HARVEST !!

https://www.aceseeds.org/en/strains/limited-editions/thaichifem.html

Thai Chi is a new sativa/indica hybrid with a perfect asian genetic balance. It's a direct cross between a new pure Thai sativa from the northwestern province of Chiang Mai, and our 4th generation Kali China elite.

At last, you can enjoy with this hybrid of the best qualities of the legendary Thai sativas (extreme vigor, strong branching, prime quality euphoric psychoactivity, high resistance against fungus), in a moderate flowering time, and even in latitudes far from the equator where flowering can take place with cold and rains.

Kali China is the perfect strain for this asian marriage. The introduction of Kali China genetics into the hybrid has favoured the adaptation of the wild Thai genetics to indoor growing, drastically shortening the flowering to 10-11 weeks, increasing the flower density and resin production, contributing with its more refined terpene profile, and rounding out the effect with its qualities and its best asian sativa traits.

The influence of Kali China's beauty is also evident, being able to find in this hybrid a beautiful expression of 'Red Thai'. Very aesthetically pleasing plants in flowering, which in many cases show beautiful reddish colours throughout the plant, ripening with low temperatures with an almost black look.

Authentic F1 hybrid with extreme tropical sativa vigor. When Thai Chi is grown indoors in small spaces the yield is moderate, but outdoors, with more space and longer growing stages it has the potential to produce huge crops.

The Thai phenos have an aroma of natural incense and cured wood that will delight the 'old school' sativa lovers. The expressions with stronger Kali China influence have a more complex fruity terpene profile.

Its effect has excellent mood enhancing sativa qualities: clean, cerebral, active, sociable and positive, without producing paranoia or nervousness.

Limited edition available in feminized format, while stock lasts.

Type: F1 HYBRID
Format: Feminized
Sativa / Indica ratio: 70 % sativa / 30 % indica
THC: 16 %
CBD: Below 0.1 %
CBG: 0.7 %
Flowering indoors: 10-11 weeks
Flowering outdoors: End of October
Yield: High
Resistance against spider mites: Average-High
Resistance against powder mildew: High
Resistance against botrytis: High
Resistance against white fly: Average-High
Resistance against cold: High
Resistance against heat: High
Latitude: 0º-45º

Genetics: Thai Chiang Mai x Kali China elite (F4).

Structure: It grows robust, compact and with broad indica leaves in its first weeks of life, to later develop a tall and large extremely vigorous sativa structure, with a strong, capricious and irregular branching, as occurs with some thai sativas.

Bouquet: The Thai phenos have an aroma of natural incense and cured wood that will delight the 'old school' sativa lovers. The Kali China expressions have a more complex fruity terpene profile, with many different nuances. Sour grapes and astringent bitter lemon i

High: Excellent mood enhancing sativa qualities: clean, cerebral, active, sociable and positive, without producing paranoia or edginess. Visual distortions and pleasant physical tingling sensations.

Growing Tips: It can easily be grown indoors, although we recommend strong light intensity to achieve the best results and the use of small pots if the indoor space is limited.

Outdoors it can be grown up to latitude 47º, both in warm weathers and in climates where the flowering can take place with cold and rains.

Outdoors and with a longer growing stage is when this hybrid develops its extreme vigor and huge yields.

We recommend moderate levels of nutrients for the whole cycle.

Some of the outdoor pics were taken in 2017 outdoor harvest at the farm that is collaborating with us. Thank also to the The English Cut for testing successfully this new limited edition in his rainy and cold weather ;)

WOW! So you're the creator of Thai Chi!? I just picked up 2 oz of this and Haze again to hold me over until my first cycle. Very impressed w this strain when I first tried it. A balanced Thai for sure. I may want to eventually grow it myself. Hats off to ya, and I don't say that lightly:yay: You have definitely done some fine work here.

This is my Thai Chi in day 54 of flower after being flipped at day 28 from sprouting. It was heavily traumatised when transplanted from solo cup to 5gal (tore bottom 1/3 of its roots!) but it eventually bounced back, alas being smaller than my other plants.

SURELY this is a Chinese dominant phenotype? It has a very stout branchy structure with buds that are EXTREMELY dense. It also seems like it plans to finish around week 9.5-10.

Yeah the buds do have an amazing scent and are very resinous. I'll take some better photos around harvest time and post them here.

Luckily I have more Thai Chi seeds and also some Golden Tiger seeds so I am sure I will experience those Thai Sativa genetics soon enough regardless..

Hi eskimo, how a plant should look like after given days of flowering depends on so many variables that is hard to say, but to be on track better start to count in this case since the flowering really started, since these phenos of more 'Thai behaviour' take longer to reach sexual maturity and therefore they start slower the real flowering.

Welcome OvergrowDMDC and thank you very much for your kind words. Glad you liked Thai Chi so much, it's also a favorite of mine.

Correct Subu! Yours is without any doubt a compact and fast flowering very Chinese dominant pheno

Thai Chi chopped last night, 28 day veg (topped once after node 4) then flowered for 11 weeks and 1 day from flip.

This lady lost the bottom 1/3 of its roots when transplanted so didn't end up being very big but I am happy with the quality.

Hi eskimo, looking good passing mid flowering. How are they doing lately ? Take it easy with the feeding, the more Thai dominant phenos like yours don't need much ec levels, even in flowering.

Congrats on your harvest Subu :yummy: really delicious looking buds from your Thai Chi - Kali china dominant pheno. Enjoy ;)
