Agree with OZZ that it shouldn't be a light intensity problem with the HLGs, things are proper killers and your other results have been excellent. I'm having same heat problem to a lesser degree with the NextLight; i.e. pretty cool in there, which means less than 80f. When temps are low under LED, the plants can't digest the powerful light, don't transpire correctly and affects their uptake of nutrients. Not bad growth, just not optimal and lockouts appear eventually.

Pretty good learning curve with LEDs. Also need extra CalMag. My girls getting it at least once weekly.

Thank ozz and deepwater.
I’ve talked to the manufacturer of the light.
The say the light loses 1% power per year.
So this is what I think now and nearly have proof.
1st my temps have been very low (my fault as I wasn’t using a heater). Perhaps -20% yield but the real issue here is that I’ve put
Thai chi, Thai pan and Pangi into flower while the tent was still half full with the monster killer A5 taking up most of the light intensity.
I am practically certain now that the low intensity of light in early flowering is 80% of my problems as the other 4 plants that have had proper light levels from the start of flower look normal!
Also I notice when growing Oaxpan that the closest top to the light in early flower ended up being the biggest top (it wasn’t the thickest stem).
My mistake completely and thank you everyone for helping!
On a good note I’ve got so much weed I don’t need anymore Hahahah.
I’ll do better next time . :thank you:
I am ordering a par metre now too and will try give as much light intensity as possible in early flowering!
Dubi was just being nice and blaming it on my tools and not the real problem. (Me) Haha

My bad growing doesn’t mean you guys don’t get to enjoy the strain.

This Thai Chi had a rough start but we may get something out of her yet. Moved in new plants next to her this week so the light had to be dropped a foot. She'll be getting more light again once stretch catches up. Days~18 & ~43 shown here

She went about 90 days from seed, maybe 70 of that flowering. The space became too crowded and she was never going to get the light and humidity needed to finish. I still expect this to be a real treat out of everything in there. The smells are of lemon grass, eucalyptus?, Myrcene- it's awesome. Makes me think of a sweeter golden goat. Incredibly sticky but could have had more trich coverage if I'd given her better environment.

1/2 gallon soil/Coco mix, Jack's, 315, lowers hit with a male Zamaldelica of wide girth. Pulled out exactly a pack sized 10 of those Thai-maldelica.

Nice one! I’ve been wondering when I was going to see them.
Did they finish in April?
How do you like it?

Only just found the pics lol
me computer shit itself, lost all me pics, only just found the sim card they were on

Think it was the first week of may, was under the pump trimming by meself thanks to corona, was probably ready towards the end of April, the little TC's got done about then, was wet and cold for the last 6 weeks, it breezed thru it, be on the list next season

Yeah smoked very good from memory its curing away, will try a bit this week, everyone that's tried it has loved it
will update me thread soon, now i've got pics again

Really beautiful outcome on your Thaish pheno bsgospel :)

What a beauty! Extreme Thai expression in every sense (yet of moderate flowering time) with very little indica or Kali China influence. Must be a lovely smoke to enhance the day :ying:

Yippee! :D Glad you pollinated her with a Zamaldelica male!
(Thai Chiang Mai/Kali China) x (Zamal A x Old Malawi Killer/Meao Thai) sound like an excellent genetic combo!

Wow kickarse! :whee: Simply amazing! So happy to see you have had another great outdoor harvest this season and that our genetics produced great results!

The purple Thai Chi pheno is one of my all-time favorite smokes. Thank you very much for sharing your results. Enjoy, you deserve it ;)

Hi ULMW,

Your Thai Chi looks much more tamed than your Golden Tigers 3rd version despite having exactly the same mother, a pleasure indeed to see you revisiting this strain ;)
Hope you get a more balanced pheno this time with more KC influence so you can experience different expressions of this line, your first one was very Thai and wild.

Really excited with this girl, I developed a crunch on her... what a lovely slender structure!

Love her loong and narrow fingered leaves and how she doesn't perk them 100% horizontally but get that "bell shape".

Guess this is a Thaish leaning pheno? See little to no KC influence on her :jump:
