holy smokes..if you dont mind being cold from october to march, maine is a great place to be...

If I move from here it will be to another country. Panama or Belize seem to always come to mind.

I'm a pussy when it comes to the cold. If it drops below 75 I look for warmer clothes.

Prison should be for those that have caused malice towards others.
Once you go to prison they have effectively killed you. For most sane individuals the drug war and drug laws are senseless. But, if you are a communist bastard the laws work to your advantage. Forget about the money of the prison complex or big pharma taking control. This is more about stripping away rights. Get labeled as a felon and two important items are taken away from you. The right to own a gun and the right to vote. If I was a dictator I wouldn't want my populace to own guns and I surely wouldn't want them to vote for someone else. An end to the drug war is highly unlikely. Maybe when everyone is labelled as a felon then it will end. Then the government can begin a new assault on its citizenry.

oh i would not agree on the drugwar not ending.

people do evolve after all.

albeit sometimes unfortunetly slowly.

might take some time though for all the drugwars ending, people are being really retarded on this issue, so id guess, 50 years before all drugs are legal, 10 on cannabis.

maybe sooner on cannabis, 5 years perhaps.

might be being overly optimistic on this, but it seems to me, its mostly retarded middle age men that are against cannabis,

usually they are rather fat and booze hounds, so at most have 50 years left.

the younger generation is quite more openminded. though not as much as i would have hoped, but still, its progress.

in any case, its stupidity thats causing the drugwars (greed and the desire to control others stems from stupidity and only stupid people allow themselves willingly to be controlled and influenced by such..)

and stupidity is evolving out of us, it obviously does so all the time and i would say thankfully, the purpose of life is to love and get smarter.

no offense to anyone in texas but i would never live in that state..never been there and dont plan to. same with oklahoma and any other states with ridiculous drug laws and cops who wear their cowboy hats tilted and love harassing people.

i affectionally call most cops "revenue collecters" because most of them are just bitch ass traffic division pussies who write speeding tickets and other BS.....we get taxed 10 percent on income, 10 percent on sales, 10 percent on property and then get taxed again through tickets and court costs...

500 dollars for a traffic ticket is outrageous as fuck...thats a whole months rent for some people. it takes some folks who work minimum wage a whole week to earn that much money!

fuck cops and fuck the system....

sso I sure hope I am wrong. But see I use to see it optimistically also, that cannabis would be legal in 10 years. This middle-aged old man has been waiting for 30 years since I said that. The laws were harsher back then. But, then again I used to be able to smoke a joint when I would go to a concert. That is no longer acceptable behavior at concerts. It just seemed back those 30 years ago drugs were not leo's main concern. Now you can't even take a piss in private. Somebody is always wanting some bodily fluid to find out if you get high.

So as you put it people evolve. They sure do. Use to be Visine and and a breath mint and you were innocent of smoking weed. Now you have to give three samples of blood, two cups of urine, and one hair from anywhere they want to pluck it from to be not guilty of getting high. I can't wait for the next evolution.

maybe at sesame street live or the three tenors...smoking pot at concerts go hand in hand.

I friggin hate Texas! Several months ago I was driving a moving truck from California to the east coast, and I was searched at two DHS checkpoints by a bunch of boneheads with dogs & machineguns. Now I wasn't stupid enough to bring anything on me; but, for the first time in my life, I felt I was in danger on our own soil!

Well there may still be hope for Texas. I heard on the news yesterday that a bill was being put forth for MMJ in the next legislative session. Of course this has happened three times before and never passed. Seems the biggest obstacle to the bill is governor Rick "the dick" Perry.

Print as much money as we need to, borrow it from China, EU, the Moon, or the future, it doesn't matter. Use the money to hire Americans to rebuild our infrastructure including high speed rail, sustainable green energy sources and distribution lines, health and dental care for all people on American soil and last but probably the most important EDUCATION. This is how to fix Texas and the rest of the US and watch the drug war fall to the wayside.

Why not nationalize our natural resources? As in oil. Take back the commons.

Instant run-off voting, population sample voting, and/or only publicly funded campaigns are ways to get there.

Texas Sucks... it's the mindset of the conservatives and their laws. the same applies to OK, AL, MS and FL to name a few...

no wonder we had a civil war. the people in the south are nothing at all like the people in the north...

fuck the 'bible belt'

I agree Texas sucks big donkey balls. Tell everyone they don't want to move to Texas.

That civil war worked out real well also. Turned the plantations into corporations and made slaves out of us all.
