about the shoreline, you may well be right I have no idea, I've never even smoked it. But I do remember all the sudden it popped up, and it wasn't even popular at first it was just another strain. and slowly but surely got popularity.
Some guy back at OG claimed it was a cuban sativa grown by his grandfather in cuba for many many years and when he (the son or grandson) came to texas they crossed it with kush or chitral or something like that and it got popular as shoreline. Could be total BS though. he only had a few posts and you know how people like to make shit up for cred sometimes.
It may very well be being used as a buzzword just for weed in texas now though. purple haze is a strain but it certainly isn't what corner boys have when they are yelling at you as you drive by.

I plan on moving to the Austin or Dallas area. I haven't made up my mind just yet. Since I won't know anyone down there. I think it will be easy to maintain security. I know that Texas is not a place to play around with. But that's why it makes the most since.

Austin is a college town, lots of hot college chicks if you looking for one. As far as Dallas goes just dont live in Dallas, theres lots of nice towns surrounding it to live in. Houston is a hot humid yucky place 
Your best bet is just move to Calif, its pot friendly and the weathers great.....

In a corrupt county in East TX, how does one connect up? Been here about 13 years, former yankee. Can make ribs fall off the bone, all that (the secret?use a fire of pecan shells, let it burn down to a nice glow, give the meat lots of time). That being said, I can't seem to figure how to approach folks to connect. I'm a patient, disabled, wish to discontinue or mimimize medical treatment of destroyed spine. It works. Tried a 3 day supply of MJ a while back and felt like a human again, laughed like a human should, was productive, and used little or no meds. I try to be discreet as possible. Ideas appreciated, would put no one on the spot, though.-------Snake

haha I can also vouch that some of those east texas counties are corrupt. Don't want to get too specific though lol.

At least houston is extreamly ethnically diverse and has a fantastic art scene to go along with all the damn people there.
Denton is a cool little town outside of Dallas that is quite nice.

then, he went after one and beat her up to try to convince her to"cooperate with the police", I guess. A local cop beat up and maced a non-English speaking, disabled elderly man and the guy giving him a ride. They got off scot free. Ever read "Smith County Justice"? I was lucky enough to get a copy for $150.00. It's nothing like the movie based on it, "Rush". The book
makes "Rush" look like a Care Bears movie. I've talked to a bunch of people who were around in that era, and you'd be amazed.-------Snake

I have a house in san marcos and austin texas. If your growing outdoors here you have to water 2-3 times a day if it's real hot.
