hey guys for my seedlings i use a baster to water the them, and i bought i a lil pouring jug and put a half inch hose on the spout to give it more length and easier to pour,,,just did it last night to stop spilling it all over the place lol,,,peace

We are thinking of setting up a dripper system but i have some idea faults that set me back and the more i read the more i get confused
My problem is the plants closest to the res and pump will get say 4 minutes of water but the plants at the end of my dripper system will only get 2 minutes of water
These are problems i have thought off without even setting it up, must go back to the drawing board lol

two small pumps,,,would be a way to get by that,,,or at least help, but if you get a strong enough pump, i don't know that that would be a problem, gettting an even amount to each bucket,,,peace

Hey ido i hadn't thought about 2 pumps, i have thought about a large pump but in my mind i can see the first drippers flowing really fast and the end drippers flowing slow? i have read about pressurised drippers but i cant seem too find them here

I guess i will just have to bite the bullet and set one up and work through the issues, I'm sure it will be an easy soultion

Is there anyway u can make all your drippers the same length then spread them out evenly and make sure your hose connected to the pump is running through the middle then spreading the water out evenly...also helps if you have a powerful enough pump...

Hey Benji Thanks for your input that is a good idea i'm going to buy a dripper system setup it has all i think i need i will try a few test runs before i will install but you have given me some new idea's

No probs bro i set them up all the time for mates been doing it for years,,The way i do it is make sure every feeder is the same length the say if i have 10 plants i make sure the hose connected the the pump from the resi is starting in between the 5th and 6th plant then split one going to plants 5,4,3,2,1 and the other going to plants 6,7,8,9,10 this way the water gets spread out evenly but the problem i think youre having is your pump isnt powerful enough so the closest plants to your resi get fed more than the ones further away a small pump wont keep the pressure to the end feeders, a big enough pump will fix this problem...Hope this helps bro..!!!

Hey Benji thanks for the help, i haven't set it up yet that is just a problem i thought off while planning my system, But how you say to do it would solve my problems. I haven't purchased anything yet, what size pump would you recomend??

After reading again i get confused when people say dripper system what im talkin bout is a feedring or just a straight feed for 30 seconds heres a pick of the feeders i use...

When i think of a drip system i think no pump, the resi higher than the pots or feeders and just letting gravity doing its job slowly dripping away...?

Hehehe thats my shivaskunk cutting at my mates house she gets fed 3 times a day for 40 seconds each feed but mind you she is in a 50 ltr pot and is in week 6 of grow and we use a 200ltr resivoir...

Yep perfect bro make the feeders yourself and just adjust the feeding times and how much to their liking,,, 3 holes will be plenty as long as you get 10% runoff you will be fine...

Hey all, Shaun and I went and bought another 2 x 400w son-t lights and 2 x reflectors, new coco (general hydroponics-cocotek) and some 12 litre grow bags (which we have never used before, but wanted to try). I am going to do the transplanting now while Shaun sets up my end of the grow room
I will post pics as soon as it is all done and I have a sore back, LoL...
