Thanks for the safe wishes Nukkumatti. I'm gonna be adding another flower room this winter. Going a bit bigger again. I used to run several 4x8 tables E&F that I ran in a rented house, but decided to downsize to just growing personal smoke for me and some friends. That changed yesterday when I found out my position at work was now going to be part of random drug testing. Decided to say fuck it and just grow again. Probably find a part time job that I'd actually enjoy, but mostly full time growing again. Take care and stay safe as well.

Time for breakfast, then it's off to the grow shop to get those saucers and some more soil. When I get home I'll finish up the re-potting and post some pics of all the girls and guys.

Update time...

I got all the girls finally re-potted into the 7 gallon containers and watered. One surprise is that I have 3 female Secret Recipes and not two. I forgot about the big one that I took clones of already. Oops. hehe. So without further ado here's the gang.

Secret Recipe's Females Left to Right #1 to #3

Secret Recipe Male

There were 6 males and this is the one I've selected to keep.

UKhem Females Left to Right #1 to #3

UKhem Females Left to Right #4 and #5

UKhem Male on Left, UKhem Unsexed on Right

There were 4 males and this is the one I've selected to keep.

Chemmy Jones Females Left to Right #1 to #3

Chemmy Jones Females Left to Right #4 to #6

Chemmy Jones Male

There were 4 males and this is the one I've selected to keep.

All the plants have been fed Advanced Nutrients Sensi A&B, Carboload, Voodoo Juice, and a one time Cal/Mag supplement. The Voodoo Juice application was 2 weeks ago. They will get another application of Voodoo Juice in one week. I'll be taking a few more clones and letting them veg for 2 more weeks then flipping the switch to flower. Hope you all like what you see. It's been a pleasure to veg these plants, but I'm really looking forward to flowering them out.

Damn bro they all look amazing, awesome skills...the branching is exactly how i'd hoped (plentiful), that couple weeks more veg is gonna have these ladies in a beautiful state to flower and give you some killer yields.
Got me real excited, thanks for the update.
Peace

Thanks True, I'm pretty happy with their progress too. I've had to add stakes already as some of the branches have started to lean. I might add a trellis after a week of flowering to help support the tops too. I'm expecting that the next two weeks will help thicken up the branches to help support all the weight I'm envisioning them to have in flower.

I also added another 600 watt light to the veg room, and spaced them out a bit better for more light penetration. This first flower room will be running only 1400 watts, but I'm hoping for around 3+ lbs just the same. I usually run 2000 watts in there, but one of my 600 watt digi's crapped out on me during the last grow. I'm curious to see if the larger pot size will correlate to bigger, better buds too. The second grow room will be running 2 1000 watt lights. I've always run 400 and 600 watt lights so I'm curious to see how well the 1000 watt lights will perform.

Thanks for following along and for the opportunity to grow these out for you. Let me know if you see any things I can improve upon.

Often bigger pots dont work because people dont give enough time for root developement when they pot up, with the 2 weeks your giving they will be perfect im sure.

I took 78 clones over the last three day's, 28 from the tops on the second topping that I've cloned right into soil, and 50 smaller clones that I've put into starter plugs. To be honest I really suck at cloning. Not so much my methods, more just environmental factors that leave me with very poor results. Because of this I usually grow from seed.

Yup, I still suck at cloning. It's the one thing that I've never been able to fine tune to perfection. I've tried just about every growing method; from DWC, to E&F, to soil, and done well. But something you'd think would be simple, like cloning, I still really struggle at, and believe me I've tried every way of cloning you can think of with the exception of cloning right on the plant. It's been 12 days, and 3 have rooted. 47 are still standing tall and working on it, but 28 have wilted and died either from over watering or drying out. I just can't seem to find that happy medium. Still holding out hope for the remaining 9 in soil and 38 in starter plugs, and gonna take a bunch more clones tomorrow. I'll use up the remaining starter plugs I have and put the rest into the EZCloner and give that a shot too. Just a bit discouraged right now. Luckily I always have seeds, and other projects to fall back on. I'll keep trying though till I get one of every girl of the three strains being tested. Repetition makes perfection right?

Girls are just exploding with growth. Secret Recipe #1 is about chest high now, and the rest of the girls are at about waist high. This is usually about the height my girls finish at in my room, but since this is a test grow, I want to really see what they can do and show them to their full potential.

I just got done feeding them again, and gave them another application of Voodoo Juice to really stimulate their roots. I want to fill all that space in the 7 gallon containers with root mass. I've been feeding them at about 1100 ppm, but some of them still are showing that they could take more. Not seeing any burning at the tips or curling of the leaves. Might go up a bit higher in flower, but most likely will stay around the 1100-1200 level. Makes for an easier flush at the end.

I'll snap some more pics probably on Sunday or Monday for you all after they've had a chance to feed a bit and grow some more. I'm not too worried about them stretching into the lights towards the end of flower for most of them, but the Secret Recipe #1 is another story. This one is worrying me a bit. She's much taller and lankier than her sisters. I may have to find a spot to photograph them in the basement where their being grown because they are getting heavy. Carrying them up one flight of stairs into my office where I've been photographing them was pretty taxing for me on this last photo session. I kinda like that spot though because the doors of the closet are a good size reference for them. I'm also thinking that moving them around with all the bud weight on them during flower might be taking a chance at damaging them. Don't want to do that.

Anyway, thanks for listening to me ramble. If anyone has any questions feel free to post them up, and thanks for tagging along with me on this marvelous adventure. I just love growing new strains because you always learn something new and you never know what to expect.

They totally reek when I rub them, but my scrubber is doing a fantastic job. We've been able to have people over and nobody has been the wiser. Still, I'm going to be adding some supplemental odor protection before too long. Especially with the second room going up. Neither of my rooms will be sealed ones, so odor protection is always a priority.

Update...

Update...

Change of plans. Girls are going into flower Monday. 6:00 am Monday morning lights out for the first time. They're just growing too fast. I'll still post pics this Sunday of the girls and guys. So that we can get a starting reference point. Just unbelievable growth. I've never grown plants this large in veg, and I've never grown outdoors. I can just imagine what monsters these would be with several months veg time outdoors.

If you haven't picked up your pack of these strains yet, don't wait. I'm totally sold on these genetics and I haven't even seen a bud yet. Damn it's gonna be fun to flower these out.

Update Time...

Update Time...

Hey everyone. I found some time today to snap some pictures. This will be the last veg update before they go into the flower cycle. I was going to put them into flower Monday morning, but since I had time to take pictures and update this thread they'll be getting the flip tomorrow morning. Halloween Day...

(As a point of reference the knobs on the closet doors are at exactly 3 ft of height.)

First up is the males.

Males

From Left to Right Chemmy Jones, UKhem, and Secret Recipe.

You might notice some tape on the UKhem. I had a bit of an accident in the room today and a fan fell on him. Splitting the stem right down the middle at the site of the first topping. I've taped him up pretty good and he should recover.

Next up are the Females.

Females

Chemmy Jones Females Left to Right #1 to #3

Chemmy Jones Females Left to Right #4 to #6

UKhem Females Left to Right #1 to #3

UKhem Females Left to Right #4 and #5

Secret Recipe Females Left to Right #1 to #3

For a larger picture just double click on the images. Not pictured is the unsexed UKhem plant. I have a feeling it will be male, but if it turns out to be female it will be flowered out when the second grow room is up and running.

Things are getting pretty tight in my current grow room and I may move half of the girls out to the second room under the bigger lights so that they all are getting even light.

In flower the plants will be fed with Advanced Nutrients Sensi A+B, Big Bud, Over Drive, And Carbo Load. I may need to add some Cal/Mag to a few of the plants that are showing a bit of a deficiency.

Next week I'll be doing a little bit of a trim on some of the undergrowth and smaller side branching. I'll be cloning from the cuttings for the next grow this winter. I hope everyone has enjoyed the grow show. And as always feel free to post up thoughts, comments, and suggestions. Next up Flower time.

Good morning Nukkumatti. The room that I'm using right now is 12x9, but I'm only using about half of that space, 6x9. The rest of the room is grow supplies and storage for my hydro equipment that I don't use anymore.

I've got my lights hanging from the ceiling with two 400 watt lights and a 600 watt light in the middle. I normally run another 600 watt light with a different configuration in there, but one crapped out on me during the last grow and I haven't replaced it yet. Were still in the refinancing process of our home and I'm waiting on the closing before I can make some big purchases and get more lights. So for this grow I'll only have 1400 watts in there, but I plan on moving some of the girls out into the second room once that is up. The second room will be running two 1000 watt lights. The second room is 20x9, but obviously I won't be using all of that space. I have about 8'. of vertical space available. My largest girl, Secret recipe #1, is 4'8", so I'll be cutting it close, but should have enough vertical space to flower them out in. Might need to do some bending of top though. These are gonna be my biggest girls ever.
