Looking pretty uniform, nice job. What kind of temps you hit in that room nickman?
Thanks Zomboy, I battled with the heat all summer.... I dial my lights down to 50% power during the hot months but it still gets too hot for my liking...
I have two separate flower rooms that are connected to each other with a half wall in the middle... there’s a door I can close to separate the rooms into two but I don’t ever do that...
I run a 1000 watt air cooled hood in each room and the rooms are both about 5x7x7...
once the temperature started to drop around here outside I turned the lights back up to 100% and the room that I have these testers in was running at about 80 degrees... the other day I filled the connecting flower room and turned the light up to 100% and that causes the karma testers room temperature to rise back up to around 85-87... that’s too hot for my liking though...
so at the present time the temps are around 86 in the room with these testers and around 80-82 in the other room...
Once the temperature drops more outside I’ll be just fine...
We’ve been having some warm days around here this week and that’s causing my room temps to rise...

looking awesome nickman
Thanks Chuck...!!!...

Nick do you run a mixed soil? And are you big on defoliating? Thanks man. Glad you guys got to test karma's new genetics
Yes, I add my own amendments to my soil so I can just add water through out the entire grow...
I do defoliate a little but not too much... just enough to allow more air movement and let the light get to some of the buds that were being shaded by fan leaves...
I’d like to try it sometime though with a more aggressive defoliation...!!!...

Thanx y’all...!!!...

Wow, great showoff nickman. Looks like a good match and both of you side treating each other well. The soil you are putting out seems to be badass.

Both of these sherb ix x bk reports look very promising. Having no access to sherbet itself and seeing this as a i good blend in of both parents (with one being well proven) makes this something I really want to grow myself.

Have fun with finishing these.

Well your plants look good regardless. Always a struggle without constant AC
Thanks Zomboy...!!!... I’d give my left nut for a mini split or something like that...!!!...
a few years ago I built something I saw here on ICMAG somewhere that included a window unit AC that was kept outside the flower room... what I did was built a box of sorts with a bunch of wood on each end of the window unit... the side that has the cold air coming out had a wooden box built onto it with with either four inch or six inch ducting tube coming off the box and connected to my flower room so the cold air could flow into the flower room...
while at the opposite side of the window unit I had also built another wooden box with more ducting work/tubing coming outta that end to allow all the hot air to be expelled out the basement window... on this end with the hot air I also incorporated an inline fan to help push the hot air through the duct work and out the window...

It may sound kinda complicated but it really wasn’t... I wish I could find the thread where I got the idea to show u what it looks like...
it just didn’t work as good as I had hoped it would so after a few months I took it apart and stopped using it...

In hind sight, if I was to do it again I would have just cut a hole in the wall of the flower room and stuck the AC window unit in that hole like it’s supposed to be used and had the other end exhaust out the basement window with the help of the inline fan...!!!...

Thank you so much kleinerVogel...
I’m still sorta new to this organic approach to growing but I do love it so much better than using salt based ingredients...!!!...
with this style the plants seem to take what they need when they need it as compared to force feeding the plants ...!!!...

I’d still like to fine tune my soil a bit more than it is now... but I am happy with the results I’m getting...!!!...

The next recipe I will try is Dank Franks recipe... I still need to acquire some of the ingredients to do his organic soil recipe though...

Also I need to stop throwing away my soil after the run is done and start reusing it like a NO-TILL style of gardening...!!!... I just get nervous that something will go wrong ...!!!... we’ll see. . .

Update: six weeks 12/12...

Update: six weeks 12/12...

So here we are finally at week 6...!!!...

Things are getting really interesting now with different types of smells and some buds starting to fatten up quite nicely...!!!...

I really can not wait for these plants to finish flowering...
I just can’t see them going as long as the other guy testing these did... he took his to like 85 days...!!!...

I could see a few of these here finishing around 8 weeks if need be... I hope...!!!...

I always like taking strains I run to 9 or 10 weeks though, just to make sure they’re done... I like a lot of amber heads on the tric’s...!!!...
Unless they’re a super early finishing strain...

Either way, here’s some photos...

First is a room shot and second photo I just wanna show off that big old cola...!!!...
