A Day 11 update.

Think I have found the first male, the three headed monster has some small things looking like balls, bit early to tell but I pretty sure. Will know in a day or tow for sure. Day 11 showing sex is very early in my opinion and if this is the case I will save this male for pollen.

Three out of the five Purples are showing purple on all new leaves and the older leves has a purple hue to them. Have any one had experiences like this, with color showing this early in the cycle? They all look very healthy so I cant see it being a problem, will be interesting to see what this strain brings in the end. Here are two ppics, one of the suspected male and one of a plant showing purple, really hard to show the color in a pic as the bigger leaves just have a slight hue to them. Wll here we go.

Suspected male.

All comments and suggestions are welcome.
Have a good one all of u.

Keep the male tri-fol and do a pollen chuck. Purple Trifol.. mmmm
The purple is normal on pruple strains. When i was chasing the purple kodiak gold pheno, the ones that ended up showing good color later always had some purple on newer growth like that.. When they were small anyways. You should see some on the undersides too. I'd say they are doing fine.

Thats what i hoped for as they are looking very healthy. The Trifol will be kept, if its a male ill knock up one Speedy and one Purple with it and if its a female after all ill just knock her up with some purple male pollen.

Thanks for the reply Bighill.

Small up date at day 13.

The Speedy Gonzales really live up to there name so far, its day 13 from sprout and yesterday I found 2 female and today another one. So that is one confirmed male at day 11, two females at day 12 and one more at day 13. Still one that hasnt showed, its way smaller then the others but i think that one will end up a female as well.

The confirmed ladys were re potted today in to 1 gal pots.
The roots are looking very good, big and bright white.

None of the Purple Concordes has showed yet but i have spotted one that looks like its got balls.

If I end up with 4 of the Purples being females aswell I will have a very crowded room, some will have to stay in smaller pots if that is the case and we will have a comparison of what difference pot size does as well.

Will update with pics tmrw when im taking all out of the camber to train them down a bit.
Keep it safe you all.

they look like they have lack of oxygen in the soil, that is why there leaves are curled under like that, are you watering to often, what soil are you using???

Not watering often at all, letting them dry out fully. When i repot them i add more perlite though, the soil in the small pots is way to dense so you are probably spot on. Using local organic soil that worked really well before..

Cheers for the heads up mate.

I think it's lack of calcium making your leaves strap and deform like that and magnesium making your new growth light in color. I'd raise the ca/mag.

OK I´m back! Has been 10 days since my last update, sorry for that but was in a place with out internet and computers, and that was actually really refreshing.

Well here we go, alot has happened since last. all plants has showed sex, I kind of ended up with a good problem as I got to many girls. In the end all of my Speedy´s ended up beeing girls, thought one would be male but i was fooled by some new mung branching. So that is 5 females, to cope with all of them 3 were planted in 1gal pots and the two remaning put in small 1+ litre bottles to grow buds on a stick..

The Purple Mazars ended up having a poorer ratio with only 2 beeing females and the rest guys. they were re poted but one had to be put in a slightly smaller pot to fit in the grow room and the other in a 1 gal pot.

all of the plants has been tied down this early to make sure that iI will have enough room in the end. Some may look a bit weird due to that in the photos, just so you know.

I also have some more info on the Speedy G´s. They are a stbalized cross between Diesel and Shark Attack and the LR2 was used to get the Auto gene.

The Purples are from a purple stabilized Mazar and the LR2 was used for the Auto gene on these to.

When re potted more perlite and a good amount of egg shell was added to the soil mix to get more oxygen for the roots as ICC commented. Also ive strted to feed them on 1/2 dose of Hensi Bloom and boosted that with some extra cal mag for Mr Meds. These changes has made a big difference and the plants are looking super healthy. The new growth may look a bit light but the flash on the camera makes it look more then it really is.

Thank you all for stopping by and an extra thanks for you guys giving me the heads up on thing I get wrong, keep it up!

Here are the pics.

So an other 3 days has passed, had a look today and the growth is amazing. The Speedy Gonzales are just racing away! <The purples are a bit behind but starting to take of as well. Will take them all out tmrw to train them down a second time and take some photos to share.

Also the Speedy G´s are really starting to smell. So far its that classic skunky smell but alot of it for beeing this early in flower. Lets hope my little fan and filter can handle all that smell coming my way further ahead...
Photos will be added tmrw, cya.

Any color showing on those concordes yet?

Hey mate, will try to update with some pics later today or tmrw, been to busy lately.

I have tow Purple Concordes or as they are called now, just Purple Mazar. Two totaly different Phenos, one super compact with fat indica leaves and one more stretched out. The compact one showes color on the new growth and has been doing so since day one. There are not to much calyxes to talk about so to early to know if they will take on color. Im eagerly awaiting some more color, fingers crossed it will come soon!

Update day 31

All is looking good im my opinion. Took all of them out to day and gave them a good feeding. They have been on 1/2 dose of the Hensi Bloom the last two feedings and has responded nicely, no nute burn and good growth. To day i upped the dosage to 3/4 of the recommende dose, hopefully they are ready for it!

Some of the SG´s are looking really good and i have hopes of some actually finishing in 65 days, all of my previous Auto grows has been 75 days from start to finish but these might just cut it.

The Purple Mazars are a bit after. Two totaly different phenos as you will see in the photos, one stocky and one lanky, the lanky one looks to be a bit faster but Im liking the looks of the Stocky one. Might be what im looking for to help with insomnia. Fingers crossed. Please comment and give input if there is anything you might think could be done differently to get a better end result.
Here are the photos from day 31.

Hi seedling

Hi seedling

Nice to see that you get some good result from those two new strains.
I think that to start , i'll tell you that the plants look healthy, but maybe to much nitrogene in my opinion and maybe led keep your plants too short, but the result is nice anyway!!!
I'd like to tell you that the purple mazar ican get two defferent phenos, one very indi bushy one and another less indi...

The purple comes from the second week of flowering and give you calices fully purple, the taste of those purple mazar is really frutty like and pleasant to smoke.

The reason for the plants beeing short is that my grows pace is small and i tie them down. Measuring the stalk they would probably be 13" tall right now and are showing no signs of stopping.

I like the sound of the Mazar turning purple, also good that i got one pheno of each sort. Cant wait for the m to finish.

The Speedys has impressed me to, very fast growing little things and they are already real stinky!

When it comes to to much N in there what should i do about that, give them a feeding of just water next time or what is the way to go?

Cheers for stopping by mate.

If you water them, and have a good amount of run-off you will wash out some of the nutes in the soil.

Nice to see color allready!
