I have a really sour smelling male and although the 3rd bx is clearly very similar to the clone mom. The 2nd bx were improved with another bx and a 4th might get more phenos even more similar to the mom. You see I have all 3 bx to work with and a 4th just gives me another option to continue with.
Sour Bubble will be cubed as a 4th bx but that won't actually increase stability and in fact undesirable recessives could be brought out in the cubed SB. This means it will need testing and then I can make my decision from there. Whether to go back to the first bx to inbreed with another to make ibl f1 seeds someday but i dont know what will be done from there. I want some cubed sour bubble though and so will some breeders who want my clone. I can't give or sell my sour bubble clones I am sorry to say but I promise to continue my work to do the best I can with seeds.
Update time people...
It turned out 2 males and 6 nice females and they all look a lot like the mother clone as these pics will show. The clone mom is in the upper right corner of these two pics and she will be used to make the Cubed Sour Bubble 4th bx seeds for testing.
You can see one of of the males. Do you see how they are more like the clone now? Taller? They should yield much better on average IMHO but we shall see.
In the next pic you see a little lifesaver plant I am growing for stash among the SB3 bx seed plants. All the plants except for the clone will be my stash and perhaps one of these SB3 plants will be my entry next 420.
It turned out that 2 were males but 75% females is pretty lucky.
The 6 females are flowering fine with no hermies or and trouble other than some mg deficiency and some mites that turned up. I have neemed them and given epsom salts.
Here is that smallest one first and then a couple nicer ones...
They have very tight nugs and a really sour smell to all. We will figure about 5 weeks to go.
Now check out the 55 day flowering Lifesaver that is kinda runtish... BOG
I have been feeding them a bit heavier and see no signs of strain so perhaps I could have given a bit more. Some show a few yellowing leaves already and the smallest one is actually ripening so fast its just too fast really.
Here are the pics of the same plants seen before. BOG
