So im guessing l got a older bottle not a newer bottle that says to use it at 30ml. Now users are saying to use it at 60ml a gallon if u want to see good results lol.

Well at least that not as bad a Dutch Master Penetrator/Saturator when it first came out. First it was 20ml on the label. Then 6 months later the new batch said 30ML. Then several month later a new letter came with Penetrator that said their further studies shows suing 60ml per L was even better LMFAO. Oh and then they have to change then name from Penetrator to Saturator for Canada.

I own a hydro store and the way I see it is the companies the shout the loudest "Look at us were the new best with our new never heard of products with amazing claims" are the most diluted, the most expensive and the ones with the most insane claims.

Has anyone else noticed that terpinator makes there plants stay shorter??
We have been testing it on one out of four plants under a light.. 4 different lights show that the plants with the terpinator look runtish and a lil sickly compared with the others..once again I'm learning my lesson with these type of products. .I'm throwing this shit in the trash..

Did not notice improvements.

Did not notice improvements.

I just tried this product and noticed no significant improvement in my flowers. I used it at the max recommended dose of 30ml/gallon and yeah....not terribly impressed after much time and expense. Ran 10 strains with it and the strains turned out very similarly to my past experince growing them. Which was really good I just didn't notice any differance in taste or smell as advertised.

I really don't get all the fuss about products such as Terpinator.
I mean this in a positive and a negative way.
First, people babble about some heavy metals (BTW trace elements aka micronutrients are exactly that) and maybe even blame them for a lack in performance. I mean, seriously? At least you know what and how much it contain and that this minute quantities are just pixie dust. But you don't bother about the major unknown ingredients? C'mon...
Second, some people run their plants already at the biological limit using a bunch of additives, thousands of watts of light, CO2 supplementation, you name it, and wonder why some 'potion' doesn't result in a visible (= at least 5%) yield increase? That's like Schwarzenegger during his best times wondering why drinking goji berry shake doesn't pump him up further. And others run their plants with a deficit somewhere and every life form, especially plants, only run as fast as the weakest link. If your voodoo doesn't remedy that but adds something else, then for sure you won't see anything.
Most additives are like nutrient supplements for body-builders: If you don't pump, they won't help and if you shoot too many anabolics and roids, they won't help either. Doesn't mean they don't work...
Point is, you have A) to know exactly what's inside that bottle and B) to know exactly what you give your plants besides that. If either of which is unknown, there's no rational basis on which you could claim that it doesn't work but by testing you could show that it does. And that's why I mix my own stuff and running in soil using river sediment and the like and hence, I give a shit if there's some ppm heavy metal inside. Beside, I don't smoke the weed, I drink it. Smoking even the purest weed is way more toxic than consuming some unnecessary minerals. The former will kill you with lung cancer, the later maybe would, were you to get 200 years old.

High EC

High EC

Has anyone else noticed the high EC/PPM of this product? At the low recomended dose of 15 ml/gal it adds an EC of 1.0. At 30 ml that's 2.0! Come on, really? I observed lockout due to too high of K from following the 15 ml/gal. If you are running a good quality nutrient and never top 1.2-2.0, then add another 1.0 to 2.0 of Terpinator, you are going to have issues. I know I did.

Seen any studies proving this yet? Not trying to be *facetious I've just yet to see anything substantial proving this one way or the other and your post makes it seem as if it's an foregone conclusion

*I'm honestly asking as you would know better than I of any current studies. To my knowledge there has never been a confirmed case of lung cancer from smoking cannabis

Tar isn't a unique thing for cigarettes or tobacco but a result of burning dried plant matter. Most people don't get lung cancer from toking because you don't smoke 20 or 40 joints a day. Also, living in a city with some million inhabitants, a highway, freight yard, and some industries quickly results in the equivalent of 5-10 cigarettes a day... what's a joint or two compared to that even if it's a paper filter. But that doesn't make it less harmful, let alone negligible. On the other hand, healing earth (aka clay aka heavy metal rich mineral dust) is, well... maybe not that healing but you might have gotten my point by now :) . Our body is made in a way to deal with toxins and several can be handled, others are tolerated to some degree. Eaten is often less problematic than inhaled too, blame evolution and biology.
But you're right that there are not enough (if ever) solid studies but that's also a good sing, it means that there are not that many chain tokers. Gateway drug, my A *Pfff*

Just wondering...is this stuff going to push these results higher?

I used nothing but lab chemicals (like technical grade monopotassium phosphate for example), organic nutes from the local shops, and organic nutes I hand-craft my self from local stuff.

I posted two so you can see its not just 1 cut. Thats 6.4% and 6.5% total terpene content on those two lab reports there. Its not like I am mister money bags with shit tons of plants grow just to send to the lab...Thats my first Pennywise ever and was 1 of 3 plants total and that Sergeant Pepper plant came out of mixed seed from a botched medical grow.

Chronic Basil is probably 1% essential oils

Finally smoking on our terpinator test batches...

This stuff SUX...

ruined my sour kushes flavor.. did the same as floranector did, when I tried that b.s..

Whoever said something about them being similar is right on.. they have to b.. must be the sulphur thing?? I don't know,, I'm just pissed I even tried it after being dialed in and happy with my current garden..

And I think ec mentioned how it affects chems n og s. I'm a firm believer now, that this is true..it made my sour kush, go from diesel/skunk/gasoline to some bland earthy/black Olive/sweet aroma flavor.. really bad on the exhale.

In theory it might work but after emailing Rizoflora about the formula and looking at the MSDS i'm guessing that your homebrew formula is going to yield a better result.. looking at your test results you are doing just fine.

Here's some problems with Terp,

1) Low concentration, most positive stories are because terpinator was used at recommended bottle dosages or higher.. So if you are using technical grade MonoPhos, I think youve got the majority of the formula as as far as adding other organic inputs i'm sure you have a well rounded formula.

2) Proprietary formula.. I asked Terp what was in the formula and they pretty much shut me down from any further questions, I told them that I was going to submit their formula to a lab for deformulation and they warned me about not trying to copy the formula.. whatever that may be.. all they said is

Rizoflora Sez:

"a proprietary blend that is protected under US and foreign copyright and trade mark laws, as well as patent protection. "

Well I want to see the patent number on it, I just want to see whats making things work..

After working with Terp & researching it i'll say no.. If your plants were missing something, it might help, but you should be able to come up with a custom solution instead of using a specialized additive.

I consulted on a grow and gave the client a fairly simple regiment, that he had to fuck with after being bamboozled by the wizard at the hydro shop.

1st try the silver lemon haze, GG4, Yeti OG (headband) and banana og were all noticeably trichy-er by week 4. At 1700 ppm, I was getting pretty pissed adding almost 500 ppm of 15ml/gallon to my regiment by week 6, and then using it through the 14 day flush until the last 3 days. TBH at that rate there really wasn't much tip burn and plants were swelling and super frosty/glassy.. like broken glass or the body shop treatment of spraying fulvic acid on buds but def triched the fuck out. All these strains taste amazing without, but it was stinkier and more profound on the palette than my og formula.

When he tried to cut the dose to 1/2, it didn't do the job at all. Because he's not an egomaniac like most growers, he found that he got the same money without terpinator so why bother paying an extra $700?

I'm in the middle of a new consultancy and still discussing the nutritional aspect, I may try a side with it to have a control and test. Probably won't do it, but if I do, I'll post the pics and technical data as well as my opinion.
