Temporary clone storage?

I met this guy at a party a few weeks ago.. ended up his friend grows Sour Deisel hydroponically. I saw him last weekend and he is bringing me two clones to a party this weekend. They will be in rockwool cubes but dont know the size. It gets very chilly evenings here and I need a safe way to store the clones in my car during the party. I was thinking some sort of tupperware container? I will be heartbroken if they die.

I'd just bring a small 4 inch pot or 2 with some dirt and temporarily "plant" them,just having the roots covered in dirt will do the trick for 1 cold night

ive kepted cuttings not yet rooted just clippings straight from the plant it self.... put it in a plastic sandwhich baggie a little bit of water put it in the fridge crisper lasted me a week.... then i cloned them with no bad side effects just like i clipped them that day....so dont worry just make sure they got water maybe place them in a baggie.....

It shouldn't be a problem as long as they don't freeze.

Thanks.. i will be pissed if they die.. besides.. i have never cloned before so hope i dont screw them up when i get home.. I was going to just put them in rockwool cubes under a hood under the lights and wait for the roots to show and put them in soil. I also may use liquid kelp and water to keep the cubes wet?

I use the plastic bag w/ water in the fridge trick as well. It works well.
