No, because they're misinformed themselves and basically are too lazy to find the right info. Thus spread the bullshit.

My daytime temps, I aim to keep below 85* as that's when - for the most part - growths slows to a crawl. Nighttime? Well right now they're sitting around 75*

I was just going to say "Ah, there's nothing like pretty pictures of pretty pot plants." I think that's what people who are cool here always remember and those who get heated may forget from time to time . . . . . .

It IS all about our favorite leisure activity.

I have seen it; or maybe what I have seen is ignorance and peeps not really knowing what they are doing and giving advice anyway. If you are serious about this, get yourself a copy of the indoor bible by jorge cervantes. Some people agree with him, others do not. I personally have had great success with utilizing what he has to say in that book. 25 bucks well spent.
:tiphat:

Thx for the heads up and info Justin

My husband says that unfortunately there are a few like that on icmag. For the most part, though, this is a really great place. It's one of the nicest places I've ever been on the internet, and I've been doing online forums since they were email newsgroups back in the day . . . . . Even ran my own place for a while . . . . .

One thing you can do is use the search function and read some of the longer, well-established threads on here and see what the overall consensus is on a particular topic.

We run acs and keep them at about 70 degrees. Obviously it gets warmer when the lights are on in the flowering room. I was keeping veg on 68 for a while, but it felt icy in the room to me, so I upped it back to 70. Since we're doing hydro, it's important to not have it get too warm, b/c that's when fungus and stuff like that happens. . . . Also, high temps can affect yields, or more to the point vast changes in temperature can do that if you have an attic run or something like that and it's winter time.

Wow, Very nice of you to take the time and write all this info.
its alot of help thank you.:tiphat:

It is not just real cool Lakehigh, it is an awesome book and great read. You will not go wrong with that book, it will help you create convo on here as well. There will be peeps (including myself) in here that will want to argue some of the points in the book that Cervantes makes. You will learn a lot more that way. Good luck with it man.

Lol, sorry! I meant that as a response to - "So, Theres peps here that will give you wrong answers just to mess with you?"

My bad if it came off as "heated." I need to learn to use the quote button more.

I keep looking back at this because I'm currently running about 85* when the lights are on, and I can get my temps down to 60 with the lights off if I need to. I usually keep them around 70.

Trying to learn if this is hurting anything, or helping. I know the colors come out more with some colder night temps, but isn't that only during the end of flower?

I'll contribute to some pics. This is one of the "runts" that I was going to throw away, but decided to start manually flowering while everything else was vegging because... well, I had the space. I've got 4 of those, here's one. It should be about 30 days into flower:

And this here should be about 16 of my other ones? I'm not sure exactly how many, I just pulled some out of my cab:
