temp problems

Glad you got the temps under control. I was going to suggest that instead of viewing the 80 degrees as a problem, you could embrace that temp and add CO2. 80 is a very good temp if you have extra CO2 in there, and it would also help your plants use more of the light (a lot will be wasted with 2 1000's in that small cab.)

hey man sorry for abandoning you, i forgot all about this thread.

on to the way i would set up the system...
1 gal coco bags wall to wall,10 gal res, small pump connected to a 1/2'' feeder line 1/4'' leads feeding each bag. digital timer so you can set 1 min increments. if you can get trays that will fit perfect then do that, if not lay down some plastic to catch overflow. you want to time how long it takes to just wet the coco enough. start well rooted clone at 12/12, feed 1 time a day till the plants require more than one feeding. when they stop stretching trim up bottom 1/3 of plant. i bet 50 would be a good number. a 1 ounce plant isn't too hard to do with that much power, with the right genes.

a drip system allows you to adjust your watering on a strict schedule. adjust the output on your pump to get the flow right. i have used 2 min and pressure compensated flow nozzles to get timing right and worked out fine. the reason i say coco is that it's a little more forgiving than hydroton(my first choice medium).

you can put that ac on a timer to shut off at night, 60* is a little on the cold side but not bad. probably get some nice color out of em too. i think 65* is ideal.
