Well I doubt that your doctor is going to go to the police and tell them that you smoke pot, he might not approve but I doubt he'll care all that much. I'm no expert though so you might want to wait to see what some others say.

I have never ever told them I smoke because if you get a life insurance policy or health insurance then they know you smoke and that isn't a good thing.

At my last physical he asked if I smoked anything, and I told him no tobacco. He asked if I smoked marijuana, I said yes, he asked how often, and I told him a few times a month (true at the time.) He just kinda nodded and kept checking my breathing and stuff.

I think most doctors are well enough educated as to not spew the propaganda onto you about smoking marijuana.

any doctors that have asked, I have told. And really, doctors will suggest to quit smoking cigarettes before cannabis. there is really nothing doctors can do to you knowing the fact you smoke cannabis.

I know I've posted this before, but all my medical providers know I smoke pot.

I asked my doc for a med-exemption. He said no, but it was ok.

I went to my dentist fried on pot cookies - for a root canal. Giggled the whole time. I told him, too.

right on! i was honest in hopes it was in my healths better interest. doc wrote it in my records.....10 yr business policy covering 10 people dropped....cost me out the ass! and if you grow, youre not suing, unless your an idiot.

I told my doc that I smoke. I asked him to please not note it in my records for it was my record. If your doctors cool he wont.

She said drop the Ciggs didn't say shit about the pot!
She didn't write anything down. But I don't have a regular Doctor I go to... just who ever is on at the time..when i need to go and thats not much!

The Insurance slant is a good warning to those who may have less understanding Physicans.

I explained to my cardiologist that I was smoking mj for insomnia and arthritis and he didn't say a word. Since I don't have insurance, i dont give a shit if the insurance co. knows. My doc did give me some samples of Roserem for insomnia, but I didn't like them and I told him I would continue with mj.
