Man do I hate this time of year -nothing growing, it´s dark (fuckin dark) and cold. If it weren´t for a certain lady I´d be outta her.

Oh man! I love it. But Im native and used to it. I think thats why I like it so much.

But I know it can be difficult for some people.
Winter is time for indoor grows, you can get three crops easily during the winter, temps stay low and that well lit room gives you that "summer" feeling.

I could not live without proper winter like we have here. Frost, lots a snow and kaamos!

Me nah like it :freezing:

I'll never get used to it. I strongly dislike, the cold makes fetching food a real pain in the arse.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to spend the darkest part somewhere south..

The snow defintely helps, I really despise the "black winters" we had a few years back, all the shite that is tracked into the house can drive one nuts.

I grew quite a lot last summer so I should survive so the risk wouldn´t be worth the benefits.

Music like this helps though. And "klöki" doesn´t hurt either.

Oh man i'm with you! I have lived in southern Finland now for almost 2 years. This sucks so bad! I'm born and raised in Kittilä and a passionate snowboarder (love Levi). I'm just about to quit school here and go back to Lapland. Where we truly winter that lives up to i'ts name.

I remember one week in january when every day temps were -45c, I was in elementary school and walked to school everyday that week. I't was utmost fun and stayed in my memories in vivid form.

Nothing beats a good cold and dark winter in Lappi <3

I agree with Piel, talvi stinks. I also think shoveling snow stinks, especially like last week when it kept blowing it and I had to do it 3 times in 1 day. 20+ years and I still don't get used to it. Thule has the right idea, 4 months somewhere else would be great. Piel by "klöki" do you mean glöögi?

I'we had a fuc*ing bad day!

I'we had a fuc*ing bad day!

I think constantly speaking english in:
"International Cannagraphic Magazine > Forums > National and Other Language Forums > Nordic Countries > Finland" section stinks a bit.

I understand that everyone in the world cant speak finnish, being a swedish finish hybrid myself. But should/could we open a:
"International Cannagraphic Magazine > Forums > National and Other Language Forums > Nordic Countries > Finland"
ENGLANTIA SPEAK HÄR topic or something??

Int tror jag heller att största delen av finnarna här sku tycka om 3-4 finlandsvenska sku hela tiden bara skriva alla sina posts på svenska. Eller hur är det? Får man snacka sitt modersmål här? Fast ordet är fritt i vårt kära land man jag vet int mera hur det är med språken. Bort med pakkoruotsi marra finnhjäveln :)

Is it written "glöögi"? Nice to get it right.

Stombe: I can write Finnish, Swedish would probably work better, but isn´t the forum for people that live (and grow) in Finland? I can read what´s written and that should be enough -but that´s just my two cents.

"Talvi" to me is as good as summer. You got to embrace every day as it comes and enjoy of it.

"Talvi" makes me feel alive again.

I use to go out daily for long walks in the forest with the dogs, just to feel the fresh air in my lungs and a warm glowth on my cheeks.
On return i will be anticipating a hot stove and some indica or dieselryder to give me the pee in the wetsuit feeling like no any stressfull summer could ever achieve.

Best of all ofcourse, is the low temperature and drafts at floor level wich happens to provide for fresh oxigine, chilled scrotum, hard nipples and a firm & tight vayaya wich ensures me the endurence for having everlasting sex with my lovely wife :D

In the end ofcourse, it will be all about natural selection: Notherners need to have lots of sex in order to stay warm. ;)

Stop sucking balls in this thread guys. If it ain't no clean, ofcourse it STINKS ! :)

Try having SAUNA every once in a while ffs :D
