Talking to kids about the garden. Dilema.

blowing smoke up fidos nose...^^^^^..put joint in mouth so lit part is in your mouth ..blow smoke out...I have never used a shotgun tho as then I would prob need 3 patches to clean it...call me crazy but I don't put bullets in my bong either....lol

Lol. Yeah when you hold your dog or cat down take a rip and blow smoke in there nose, your animal to get fucked up. It totally inhumane and cruel.

Been out for a bit.. anyways.

I haven't had to deal with the kids. They are out for whatever reason.. vacay.. visiting etc.. maintence is minimal.. just service the tanks etc. Change out a sensor. but all good. I dont spend tons of time there

There's been some interesting views shared.. and there's the ones that keep challenging and asking questions.. instead of sharing their own viewpoint. That's fine and all but it doesn't really give me any insight to the original question " What do _you_ tell the kids about the garden?".

Growing medicinal marijuana with kids in the house is a huge controversy.

I say go for it! Its your right as human and as American to provide yourself medicinal relief. Educate your children in every detail of whats going on in your home and why. Explain the difference between legal and illegal, medicine and drug, right and wrong. Keep locks on doors and instruct them to stay away from your back yard plants or green house. As much as they might want to help. Lol

There's just no way to keep it all out of their sight so embrace it. Don't let the school or an episode of "cops" lead them to believe mommy and daddy do drugs. If they're educated they'll understand.

You have good ideas. I just dont know if the moral lessons will sink in.. they are young kids. And its not really my place as a contractor (I use the term loosely) to lecture kids or parents on this stuff. The legality is in question, it does meet the criteria for non-penalty cultivation plant limits.

I have elected on the short and sweet answer. This is not for you. And I have told them its unsafe for them to help me or be around me. Chemicals, electricity, sharp edges, power tools.

My kids know everything and know NEVER talk about it to anyone outside our family.

They also know that this is Cali baby and out here we do things a little different.

I don't have kids But I think this is the direction I would take.

I could go on all day about my thoughts on it, but what it boils down to is simple. Don't lie to your kids, keep them safe, protect them from all mental and physical harm, obey the laws, and nobody can come in your home and tell you what your doing is wrong.

I want a honest, loving, trusting bond with my boys. In our home we can talk about anything...

All you need is 2 things. A mirror and a picture of a prison.
Stand in front of the mirror and tell everyone to smile big. Then say you see how happy we are?
Show kids the garden, then the picture of the prison and say, "If you tell anyone about this that wasn't smiling in the mirror this is where they will want to send us" while holding up the picture of the prison.
Simple, direct, and to the point.
Seriously tho, if you grow and have kids you have to be direct with them so that when the "hero DARE officer" and his side kick, the guy dressed up as "Gruff the dick licking K9 dog" shows up at school they know not to "do the right thing" and rat you out.
