T5 Height

What is the recomended height to hang a T5 light above the following:

Clone:
Mother:

I have lowered the light to within 6" and read to hang the light at high as it will go before the strecth starts. Any suggestions?

3-4 inches after they root

i keep my t5 about 6" over my plant tops

i usually keep mine 4 to 6 inches above the plant once they are rooted. although i have not flowered using the t5's, but im sure its the same rule of thumb for 12/12

And how about before they root, same 4-6 inches? None of the clones shown are rooted.

as close as possible, I can get it to an 1 inch if a fan is blowing, and these are overdriven..

clones I would do about 6-8 inches, my opinion as it works for me

now how about T5 with reflector vs without? any thoughts? currently running one of each

I've never run one w/o. but I want to get a 2nd one because I'd like to have enough light for a long veg time and I need to be able to penetrate enough light.
