T.H.Seed's HOG (Hogsbreath) - Fast, Fatty Indica

Yo as some of u know ive been posting like crazy trying to find the best strain for SOG. A 55-60 day indica that yields a LOT and is really potent...

I want to get these but I think the high yield trait is lacking in these...

After looking at THSeed's HOG it seems it yields VERY well...
One grow report claimed 4 plants per sq ft and he would yield 5 oz per sq foot, not bad (SOG)

Anyone have experience with the HOG?

I really want 2 strains not just 1... so does anyone know another strain that is similar to the HOG? Meaning it is fast, and yields a LOT (indica).

How is the strain big bud? Good for sog? Indica dominant?

I think bubblegum might be a good consideration. Its pretty fast, 55-60 days, very potent, has a few cups, and it yeilds well, not as well as hog, but you may never get the pheno in hog that you want.

you're gonna get so many responses to what each person thinks are the best you'll end up more confused than you began...this question gets asked quite a bit you should check out the search function and see what responses other people have already gotten...you'll get your answer sooner than waiting for a bunch to reply here probly

if it's yield you're after, my suggestion is: green giant, bros grimm

mk-ultra is a great sea of green strain and it has some og kush in it which is supposable the most potent indica out there as soon as i get my grow going i was going to do the same thing as you two sea of green strains i was going with mk-ultra maybe some mazar but i am also ordering some bubba kush that is going to be sweet i also want to try lowryder the only thing with that is none of them are really good clone strains so it will be hard to get cuttings good luck with your grow PEACE

Rezdog in seedbay has a bunch of new great stuff.

I would go with c99 for the quick factor and its a great sometimes very easy to grow plant.

Variety is the spice of life they say, get a little bit of this and a little bit of that! No need to stop with just one type, but then again, go with the award winners when it comes to seeds why not grow the best?

TH Seeds Bubblegum is generally regarded as the better of the 2. I've seen quite a few Sensi Star grows with a very nice yield. Sweettooth has always been a good yielder. Grape Krush is a good yielder. Anything from Rez with Willems's Wonder in it will yield well. Mental Floss is another. I could go on forever here. Your yield is going to depend at least 50% upon your growing skills. Almost any strain can yield, the rest is up to you. If this is your first grow, get something on the cheaper side. White Rhino from Nirvana or Hashberry from Mandala come to mind. They are cheap, so if you ef 'em up, oh well. Yet, you also have the chance ofd finding what you are looking for in these. If this is not your first grow, pay no attention to that except for the 2 strains listed. peace

Word on Bubblegum it is a good yielder with few phenotypes. I grew Serious's version and it was a little more sativa 60/40, but flowered in 60 days. The high, smell, and taste were all good.

Yeah after reading THSeed's Bubblegum grow reports i think im going with that.
But i still want a 2nd strain... im leaning towards dutch passion's oasis (NL#2)

And this is not my 1st grow but one of my first
I have started 2 sets of plants and 1 was finished from a friend. Did 1 outdoor grow that sucked. And 1 indoor that was decent but had to harvest early. Had some 3 footers that were 3 weeks away from harvest, and were very healthy, and for 3 weeks away immaturity it was damn good imo

Edit: but this is my 1st time buying seeds, before they were just random seeds.

Man, I would surely throw a cheaper one in there, just for practice sakes. Mandala's Hashberry has gotten pretty rave reviews, Including a spot in High Time's top ten strains of the year, take it for what it is, and Nirvana's WRhino is simply some stony herb. If you can locate the old strain guide from OG, you would see 25-30 excellent grows of the WR. Pretty uniform for a Nirvana strain as well.

Mandala also has a Speed Queen that has the same traits, indica, good, short, fast.

All im trying to do is veg a clone to 6-8" and then put it into flowering. I want it to finish at most 2.5 feet tall. And I want it to yield 1/2 oz. Does this seem like a practical goal with the Hashberry strain?

Bullshit phenotypes to be had. I grew it, it sucks hard.

The HOGSBREATH is an elite clone only, and you will likely not find it in seed form. The HOGSBREATH is what you want though, if you can get it... but it's clone only, really.

check it out, not too sure on the abilities for this plant but texas kid did a grow that im sure could be applied in an sog type pattern. its reefermans nutcruncher. he said all his plants were under 3' tall, and yielded 3-3.5 oz a piece...check it out in the reeferman test grow section. but yea, 1/2oz per 2.5' plant doesnt seem unrealistic at all. good luck

hey ezbake it looks like we are in the same boat here looking for a indica for sog

i have grown out th's bubblegum and can let you know that it was pretty easy i didn't get to smoke it however, as i had to move and was forced to toss them.

the only thing i have to say is that after asking several respected growers here on icmag so far everyone has said that they prefer bubbleberry high, as well as bogglegum to th's version. i'm not sure what you mean by "a LOT", but i mean doing sog i think you will get decent results regardless.

another thing is that you say you want "really potent" in all the threads where people are asked to list their most potent strain aka keepers aka holygrail you get the drift, i have never seen anyone mention th's bubblegum.

i have seen sensei star, and mr nice listed several times. well either way let me know which way you go.
