Switch from MH to HPS causing leaves to droop?

On week 5 I switched my 600w MH light for a 600w HPS and the leaves started drooping.. This is my first grow and would like to know if this was normal? Any tips on lighting schedules and light type would be greatly appreciated. Is it possibly the plant adjusting to the new light spectrum?

Any input helps, thanks!

Are you overwatering them or anything else?

Metal Halide lights emit far more useable light in the high-energy part of the spectrum, ultraviolet/blue. As long as nothing else has changed, such as nutrients etc, I would say that the plants HATE the change from MH to HPS. I don't blame them.

That low-end(on a PAR graph), high energy contributes big time to plant health, imo. Like the Sun does, lots of blue, even when flowering. Maybe your plants are more sensitive to this?

If you take it away, they will be pissed. Try putting the MH back, and see if they get happy again.
