ahh ok then WOWWWWW stuff gets very unclear when kush is in the piture, may be its time for me to start jotting some shit down so i'm not chaseing after the same cut under diferent names ...

There is also the Mendoceno Purple Kush.
The Old world Paki Kush x an old Mendo Afghani from the 70's.
Called afghani Kush or Mendoceno's version of Purple Kush.
I've been looking for that one so hard. It grows like Bubba kind of.
But real Purple. Real strong kush taste super potent.
Anyone got that one? Thats the other one I want aother then the one I have.
But I would totally try the Kyle Kushman Purp Kush clone.I'm sure it's really good too.
But I hear that Mendoceno version of Purple Kush(Afghani Kush) is amazing.

and for the RECORD mendo purp and afghani kush ARE THE SAME THING correct??..

Not Mendo Purps bro thats a different strain then the one ZI'm talking about.
I'm talking about the mendoceno version of Purple Kush other wise known as afghani Kush.
Because it is just Kush x affy.
I don't know what Mendo Purps is, I think it's just a Purple indica.
The one I'm talking about "the mendoceno version of Purple Kush" should be one of the better ones considering the genes.
But the "Garberville version of purple Kush" ain't no slouch either!
See now Bro? I used that as an example of the way they are labels.
Mendo purps is it's own strain that isn't even related.

are ALL different cuts with the mendo purp and the mendoceno purp POSSIBLE being the same thing ...

is there any chance at ALL that all three strains are the same thing!!!

ok so in the mendo purp cut what is the "MENDO" short for , it looks to me to be short for mendoceno and if thats true then those TWO cuts are the same thing with different names....

not trying to start anything here just trying to get things right in my own head....i dont really want to spend months trying to aquire a cut i already have or have already run, to many strains out there and not enough time to try them all......dont want to be spending to much time looking for something i already have...

I got a boy with the afghan kush it's all a matter of the almighty dollar to get it of course, he's got alot of Cali cuts and says it's the best of em all. Never heard of it being the same as Mendo PK though.

Never heard of Mendo Kush but that don't mean it's not out there - just that i can't give you any of my plagerised info

Mendo Purp is a sativa-ish purple plant from the Triangle.

P.I./Purple Indica is an Indica plant from the PNW

The one man that can help you out with pure facts is Nspecta but i havent seen him around lately. PI may be easier for you to grab but you prolly have friends in higher places than my eyes can see. Good luck with your search

yes i'm confused and i'm knee deep in WTF is going on with these purple cuts/strains, and do ppl name them in a way that there clearly going to be misstaken for one another ...

if the "mendo purp" and the "mendoceno purple kush" are not the same whats up with the names of these two again ....

the PI/purple indica is the one i cant seem to make any head way with, ummm this is the first time i have heard of the "mendoceno purple kush/afghan kush" so i'm at stage one on that one .....

There are alot of versions of purple Kush.
Mendo purps isn't one of em.
It's just a purple strain.
No kush.
The others I don't know the exact info on.
But the best ones are supposed to be the one swerve has, the Kyle Kushman and the Mendoceno version or the "afghani Kush".

well from pictures ive seen of the purples, purple indica does not resemble any of um. the PI has huge fans, phat indy type fans that stick out from the plant. just veggin up for me, so couldnt say how it smokes.

yup i'm quickly finding that out for real, so the mendo pur is not even a kush strain never knew that.....

swerves purple kush is the GVille cut, ummm it seems nandro has given the KKPK a double thumbs down i'm a bit shocked to read that....from all that he had said about that cut up untill today was all good, not sure what changed his mind on that one......

now this new one "2 me" mendoceno/afghan kush just has a catchy name, but i know shit about and had never heard of it untill today ......

i'm guessing its just like every other debate about wheather or not a strain is good or not, its just thats persons opinion......one must grow it to come to his/her own decsion on if its good or not.....

Good god, PIs great smoke but I'm having a hella hard time keeping her straight at my bro's place, our little remote grow. You can tell she's an older clone, but I love 'er all tha same. <3

Mendo Purps is a killer Sativa-dom Purple NOT related, once again, to any of tha Kushes or Purple Indicas, for that matter, commonly found in tha PNW/West Coast. It's amazing aromas and flavors make her an isntant keeper, although her plesantly euforic buzz could use some Indica influece. MP x DC male would be a solid winner.

The afghani Kush(mendoceno version of purple Kush ) is really just hard to find.
It has the same kush in it as OG and Bubba if you believe the lineage I do.
Old world Paki Kush. Thats one reason I'm after it.
The other reason is the breeder lost his cut of it over the years and I'd like to get it back to him.
But mostly I just want it. lol It has all the same Kush traits as the old world Paki Kush.But more purple from what it was crossed with.
An afghani from the Kush mountians right on the other side of the border from Pakistan in afgahnistan.So both strains used to make it are from the Kush mountians.
Thats the third reason I'm after it.
I think I found it though.
But not sure until I grow it out.
BUt it loooks alot like BUbba and all the old world Paki Kush pic's I've seen.
But with more purple affy influence.
We'll see.

Man you guys must've listed about 5 purple Kushes.

I've been buying Purple Kush for years, from many different sources, and it has always been the same Purple Kush. It can definately be different from different growing methods, but the Purple Kush is essentially Purple Kush.

I wonder which one of these PK's is the actual Cali favorite, if any...
