Swerve's Purple Kush(Garberville version?)

I am smoking it now and it is great.
This was the batch before I switched to my super organic tastey soil mix and it is still amazing. Just did a wake n bake with this bud(no cure)
Tasted great and I am baked!
Great stuff swerve,thanks again! These buds are at about 70 days.

If I had to guess, I'd say this Purple Kush is Kush x some Thai strain that brings the purple and some of that purple taste. I could be way off.
It stretches double.
So it definately is stretchier then most PK strains.
This is the more sativa one.
Not low yielding at all.
In fact every bud on the plant gets golf ball size but foxtails alot too.
I need to grow it in my new mix to give a final opinion of it.
But so far I'm lovin it.
The flavor and the complex indica high is what I like the most about this Purp Kush.
Taste like purple (Urkle-ish)goodness mixed with that pungent skunky Kush flavor.

This isn't the OG x Purps ,that one strain of the imaginary year.
This is Swerve's Pureple Kush.
Believe it to be the garbverville version.
It is dank!
I harvested the whole plant at about 74 days.
74 days seems to be ,my lucky number lately.
Bubba will be coming down soon as well.
Along with the Kali Kush.

Hey JDOG6000 how did you find her liking for nutes. I found out early that she can't take the nutes like others I have grown, By that I mean plants I have grown not Kush or Kush Hybrids. This one just seemed a little sensitive to the full strength veg nutes I am using.

I made this mix myself from trial and error.
But it was inspired by the moonshine mix.
The only real difference is my mix is a little cheaper and I seem to have more control over the lower and higher feeding strains.
Since I grow several strains at once I need that control.
Seemed to meat the Purple Kush was a regular feeder.
Not big not real small either.
It has some sat in it, I think.
So that would make it more susceptible to over feeding.
Too much light in the last few weeks is a problem too.
So pull the light up or pull the plants away from the light a little(Thats what I do)
I think the other more indica Purple Kush's probably would feed more.
Oh shit my mix...
I use a little over 1/3 Happy frog or Ocean forest
1/3 Light warrior and I over fill the rest with chunky perlkite from foxfarm.
Then I dump it into a trash bag and mix in a tablespoon of fruitn flower.
Too much FnF and you'll hermie your plants.
Can't over water with Fruit n flower either.
When measuring the amount of FnF for your soil.
Minus the perlite %.
Only use enough Fruit n flower as the actual soil in your pots.
I mix mine in each individual pot because they go in at different times al the time.
First I fill my 3 gallon bucket half way with Happy frog. then about 2 inches from the top rim with light warrior then I over flow the top with chunky Perlite.
Dump that into a trash bag and add a tablespoon or so of fruit n flower.
Then mix well.
Been working wonders for me.
If the plant is big I sometimes add a little pure Blend pro bloom for soil.
BUt I always add Budswel as soon as the lower leaves start to die on the plant at about 1 month in.
When FnF is wearing off.
Then I add a little budswel and Pure Blend pro if it needs it.
I let-the plant tell me what it needs.
Takes some time and experience to get to that point.

thanks for the response. ive been doin the same on my mix except i use one bag light warrior and one bag ffof and super chunky perlite. i used that foxfarm planting mix for seedlings and ill never use that shit again. i had more fungus gnats than ever. must be cheap peat. since switching to ffof w/ light warrior no more gnats and at day 30 i have never seen such beauty!!!! rezs shit is just that ------------------the shit! kickass /keep it up jdog!!! peace, bsb

Outdoors I think it would kick ass.
Huge yield outdoors I bet.
But it's a stinker.
Outside it will smell like a dead skunk.
My next Purple Kush is just starting to show flowers at about 3 feet tall.
Hopefully it will get like 5 feet in the end.
I'm growing my plants huge now.
as tall as me or shorter with the pot too.
My next Purp Kush rn should look much better because I used my mix instead of top feeding. The usual rant.

garberville cut. but yes there is the pnw purple kush and the garberville pk. the garberville might not be a pure purple kush it has the pos to be a 25 year old purple kush X lumbo cross. but personally since i ahve only seen this purple kush i dont know what the other is like but this is just fire dank rotting fruit n hash with chocolate coffee undertones.. fucking killer if you ask me.. i love it and would not let it get away from me. hahahah
