Sweet little design for annoying fans.

Basement grower? sick of having your inline fans rocking your house from being connected to a ceiling stud? This is a quick and convenient way to solve this problem. I have used all different size springs depending on the application. Cant hear a thing now!

Sleep easy!!

Epic. Much better than the All-round I'm used to using, especially if you had to adjust/change anything. I've seen the straps before, but never made the connection to reduced sound transfer. Face palm.

Blech, flex ducting. Though sometimes you've got to :D

Ya i have used springs from 1inch to 12+ inches depending on the application. They work awesome.

Shit thanks Mikell, not i gotta go get rigid ducting, paint the inside to prevent light leaks so my shit aint ghetto! I HATE ducting. This and my intake are the only flex ducting in the room. I dont air cool my lights mainly because of my pure HATE for flex ducting.

it could be an optical illusion but that looks like a 2x6, dems some big springs. is that a 10" inline? looks designed well and constructed nicely. great idea.

always used bungie cords, I like the springs very much. Bungies are just never a permanent installation, end up bumping them etc. kudos on doing shit so it looks like someone cares. That matters.

It is a 12inch Max fan. That is a 2x6 connected to the stud in the ceiling and it is wide enough for me to use the fans 4 mounting areas for even hanging. some I bolts top and bottom and im good to go. I Used to just hand the fans from I bolts in the ceiling but that was so noisy. Home depot for a few bucks, they have all shapes and sizes.

And you can extend that great idea to those large air pumps that need to be screwed down and that vibrate like crazy. If you got lots of concrete around you can drill into that and it'll dampin' but if that's not an option...just hang it from an eye hook in the ceiling and a BUNGEE! Quiets those effers down big time.
