Awesome koi, very hardcore to try groilla growing in sweden. but the last summer was pretty good!.
Are you going to grow in bucks or dig a big trench?

I will do trenches. As soon as the leaves will come I will start prepare the plot. (Quite a risky plot).
I will probably need a reserve plot If the large one fails.

It's quite hard to find a good spot in urban areas. Too many paths. All these bloody dog owning people.

Yesterday I repotted the rest of the plants. Though I ran out of pots when I had 5 seedlings left. They are still in the cups.

Thanks for all the comments by the way, it's appreciated.

Xhashish: I used them last year. But I think they are a bit noticeable. This year I will skip the soda can blockers and pre-veg longer instead.
Of course your picture is okay.

I wish you the best of luck also. I saw your thread. Pretty amazing stuff.

Update!

The plants today:

I moved the lamp closer to the plants after taking the picture, it is now about 5-10cm from the plants. I think it will do the job.

All the plants seem to thrive in their new pots.

With the lamp moved closer to the plants you can really start to see some results after only a day. All or most of the plants are getting bigger leafs and is starting to produce branches.

I just hope I can plant them on my spot in the start of the summer. It's submerged under water right now. It wasn't lasn't year. Maybe I shouldn't have cleared the spot so much in the fall.

Bigtower: I had to buy some quality soil, didn't want my babys to risk deficiencies.

Looking good Koi! Hope your spot get ready for planting and all that water drains away soon. Looks like we are at about the same Latitude but in different countries. I planted my babies outdoors a couple of days ago and the weather has been nice ever since. Hope for lots of sun this summer over your spot to. Good luck with your project my friend.

I'm in the UK and have been gifted a few outdoor seeds which i'm growin up indoors ready to plant in me garden. Where can i get hold of some of the scandenavian genes? Any seedbanks you know of? I would love to grow the Typhoon.
