If I was an American I'd take advantage of every single opportunity to make a few steps forward. We don't have organizations surch as NORML down here, it would actually be pretty difficult to legally set up, because any promotion cannabis is illegal.
But you guys have the chance of having a pre written letter, you just need to fill in some info, why not use it? Don't forget that there are countries where the situation is worse than in the USA (MMJ where I live? you must be kidding!), so please make an example and help the global movement by starting with what you can do.

Been writing to my reps for years. One thing I keep hearing from there aids is that they don't like hearing the politically incorrect word SMOKING. Especially from the Medical Marijuana people. Makes them think of Medicare and Medicaid budgets going sky high.

I gave you rep, because i highly beieve what you say is true. There are some countries where people are executed if found to Cannabis possession. Yes, execution for possession of pot.
Here we have a chance no matter how little it may be, to break the current cycle and start something new. America started out as a British colony and it took time and measures to get to the point where there was finally a change. From there things moved quickly.
Why should this be any different, its just a matter of waiting and doing the most we can to try and change. If they don't listen we just must speak louder until were in their face screaming at them. it a matter of gathering people together because you speak louder as a group than an individual.
Only if you dont use your voice does that make you poor, because no one will listen if you do not speak up

Why i make such a brash statement is Feds dont deal with 3 oz cases as it is anyway...So it all a waste of time,,,when the last 1-2 year long fed investigation you heard of,,you haven't cuz they dont. thats tinnie weenie state narc crap !!

I dont think you understand what this law does. Currently the are states with MMJ that still get raided by the DEA and things of that nature. Now why would that be? Because there's a federal law. Granted its different amount but were talking personal consumption here.
It would no longer be illegal against FEDERAL law for you to posses 100g. From there the only way it would still be illegal is if your state chose to keep it illegal. I'm sure that they won't go as far to regulate a section of business&production, were not quite there yet. I think the biggest benefit of this bill is that the stats can finally choose what they want to with this issue, it would no longer be a federal issue.
If you still can't understand it, i'm sorry. But i'm not explaining it to you again obviously you just don't care and i respect that. I'm also deeply sorry that your on a Cannabis site and take time to write stuff about being useless, when indeed what are you doing? Your response takes more effort than sending the email

I agree, I would like to see how that goes. I think its funny, the plant that feeds the poor. It feeds people of all classes and always has. Its also not our fault the country doesnt make money its the people who choose to outsource and the government for importation. You can see it clear as day in cali and CO.....as the market drops out from under it, and dispensary next to schools and other non since,,,,,,cards giving out to people with no real med conditions but ring worm and hang nails make up 99% of the med community's , great thing is we got tthe bible belts and the south and will make sure AMERICA GREATEST TERRORIST THREAT, not Al quada but Californians dont Taint the children , nor kill the bootleggers that put there ass on the line for 40 years before us ....to flush it all down the drain ,so some tye dye wearing freeloading hippies can get bombed 247 in there moms basement !!!

This is not the first time they have tried to pass it. This measure fails everytime its introduced. As much as I would like to see some serious change at the federal level, im not holding my breath it will happen.
