i use R/O water and water with nutes every time. i'm using cutting edge solutions which is a 3 part with micro grow and bloom much like GH. there is also some nutes in the fox farm ocean forest soil that im using. right now they are in three gallons and not drinking very fast. i use the full strength as suggested on the bottle which is 15ml/gallon bloom and 8ml/gallon micro during flower. next watering im going to give even more nutes although they seem happy and are not burning up from the bottom or purpeling on the stems like they are under fed.

Excuse my confusion, but you feed every watering? 15ml, 3tsp, just seems like so much. But man, what works-works. Looks like they're lovin it.

I've never heard of cutting edge, got any more info? I know FFOF is organic, but are your nutes organic based, organic, chem?

i think my light is no good. i've only used it for once cycle but i noticed its not nearly as yellow and after its been on for 12 hours i can touch the glass and its barely hot. i think that would explain the extra space between the nodes and the flowering that looks like a flourescent. maybe these eye hortilux are no good with the lumatek 600s? any ideas?

thanks

Larry I run a hortilux eye with a lumatek 600 its been on for 6 months now and no probs.

By the way your garden looks gr8.( except 4 taking so llong , maybe sativa??)
Did those bullskunks look like that last time, have the temps changed?

You could be correct in thinking your bulb is not firing all the way up. Maybe get a new bulb and see if that fixes( obvious statement LOL).

I also use adjusta wing reflector and it really spreads the light .

just my thoughts

i've used them for 6 months before too. but it just doesn't look as bright and its not hot at all. i had read somewhere that the agro bulbs work better with the lumatek ballasts. i guess i might have to get a light meter or just get another bulb and see if it looks brighter or hotter. last time i grew these they flowered faster but there are definitely different pheno types and some were slower i guess these could all just be slower satvia phenos.

Lookin' good! I just threw 8 plants in 5 gal of soil to 12/12. I'm working with similar space 4'4' x 2'8' (52" x 32"). I'll be looking to your thread for a forcast. Nice work!

i slowed down my fan because i think my temperatures were too cold now i'm averaging 70 degrees - should get my bacteria moving a little faster in my soil. i also borrowed my friends hydrofarm light meter and at 12" below the cooltube (where most of my canopy is) its averaging about 1800 footcandles. is that too low? should i get a new bulb? i'm on day 42 now and they look about the same as they did on day 20.
